Had a blast at CGA today. I would like to thank the park management and the representatives from Give Kids the World for putting on an outstanding event. They were organized and had surprises throughout the day that made the day special. I'm so glad to be a part of such an amazing event where we can all come together and make a significant impact in so many families' lives. I can't wait to come back for my 5th year next year. I don't know about CGA but at Valleyfair we use Martin Magnum 2000's (For high fog output), Rosco Delta 3000's (For control), and Chauvet Hurricane Flex 1800's (For lower output).

The team TPR total is 36906! Great job everyone.

Very impressive support from everyone!!! Looks like the total CFK raised was close to $100,000 and team TPR was a huge portion of that.

I agree that you should focus on the actual marathon ride. Its completely okay if you can't stay on for the whole time, but if you go try to come back quickly because CFK is one of the coolest things you can do in a park, and over the past few years I have had some of my greatest coasting memories (other than the mini-marathon in Japan) at the event. For some reason everything becomes funny after 100 rides in a row. Also if anyone is wondering about the details for the CGA event I called the park and they said that they should have them by the end of the week. Good luck with the final fundraising everyone and see you at CGA if you are participating there.

The enthusiasm that CF now has for the park really doesn't surprise me. The park has been doing well for CF and now that it has a more stable future, I can see why CF would start to invest in it. I was at the park for Haunt 2 days this year and it was fairly crowded both nights. CF has put a lot of money into their haunt (comparatively with other parks) and it is one of the better CF haunts in my opinion. So CF already puts a decent amount of money into the park, its just not in coasters which are a large investment that needs a stable future to make returns on the investment. Now that they will be keeping the park, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually do start adding coasters and big investments.

Alright I just put up a review of Nickelodeon Universe. The only problem I saw was that it didn't count down the number of characters I have left when I was typing. Maybe its just on my computer.

I was really glad Wild Thing was running great that day, they usually trim it to death. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the park, eventhough the park was really crowded for VF standards.

This ride is starting to look really cool. I would've taken pictures from the top of the ferris wheel but the line was way too long. I had to settle for the 4th floor by the movie theater. I really can't wait for this ride to start testing which shouldn't be too many more days. I will try to get a video. Should be a fun ride.
