Hersheypark has a weather monitoring station in park, thus the seemingly strick severe weather policy. With that said, the likelihood of a thunderstorm this October, well... lets just say snow seems to be more of a threat. I have been to HPITD each season for the past five years. While Saturdays do tend to be a bit busier, its very unpredictable. Make sure to dress very warm as well, for we found that Storm Runner in the low 50's is bone chilling.

The ACE portion of the evening was a nice presentation with an award to Mike Boodley for his contributions to helping with the start of ACE, as well as highlights of his career. It was also announced that he has taken on the project of design and completeion of the trains for Flying Turns, and that the park expects to have at least one completed within a matter of weeks.

While I do not yet own any TPR merchendise, I did find the Big Bad Wolf shirt I picked up at BGE this August.

I wondered how long it would take people to catch on and get the joke...

Ah! If only I had a TPR shirt to wear... well I will be there either way!
