Yeah I can wait until probably tomorrow at the latest, so I'll definitely do that. But speaking of Cedar Points rain policy, what exactly is it? Do they close most rides with even a little rain or do they try to keep stuff open as long as possible? I've never been before in the rain so have no personal experience with a rainy cedar point!

Hi Everyone! So my family has been planning on going to Cedar Point this weekend for a couple of weeks now. Now that it's close enough to when we are planning on going I have been periodically checking the forecast and to my dismay there is a 40-50% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday. I live in Connecticut so it's about a 9 hour drive. Do you think its still a good idea to book the hotel and all even with the chance of rain, or do you think I should abandon the idea (as there are no other weekends left in this season that will work). It says that Saturday there is a 40% chance Thundershowers and on Sunday there is a 40% chance of showers. What do you all think? Thanks!

Hi Everyone! I'm trying to plan a trip to Cedar Point for the weekend of September 26th, but I have been having a lot of questions come up as I plan it! First of all, which on-site hotel is a better choice do you think? We're going to have 6 in our group and it would be great to all fit in one hotel room! As well, I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what the weather is generally like in Sandusky around this time of year? Is it notoriously rainy or not too bad? It's a really far drive from where I live so rain would be a serious bummer after getting all the way out to Ohio! I was trying to look it up on google but was not having very good luck. This is only going to be my 2nd trip to Cedar Point, and the last time I went I was about 11 years old so any other tips or pieces of advice anyone has to help me experience this amazing park to it's fullest would be appreciated GREATLY! Thanks in advance everyone!

I'm going to Six Flags New England tomorrow and was really hoping to go on Bizarro, but am pretty close to the max height, at least with sneakers on. I know I can fit in the seat as I was there earlier in the year and tried out the test seat (none of my friends at the time wanted to ride), but never actually got on. I was just wondering how strict they are about the maximum height. Thanks!

I'm really excited to finally get to go to KI tomorrow! I've heard great things about this park! I definitely will have to get over to the Beast to ride that at night, and will make Diamondback one of my top priorities as all I've heard about it has been great things! I was definitely going to ride Delirium as well because I went on maXair at Cedar Point and it is probably my all time favorite flat ride! Drop Tower looks like so much fun too, and the Crypt is a top-spin, right? Again, thanks for all the help! -

DBru, based on what everyone has been saying I'd go with the Beast for the nighttime ride. MOD EDIT- Removed reference to weird, creepy spam. -
Kings Island Trip

Thanks to everyone for the advice! It turns out we're gonna be going Friday night as well as Saturday! That way I can get as much out of what will probably be my only chance to visit K.I! Hopefully I'll be able to get on everything, and chances are that with the extra time Friday night the crowds should be light and it should give me plenty of time to do everything. Are there any flats in particular that I should definitely ride? -
I'm planning on going to Kings Island this coming week. As of right now I am definitely going on Saturday the 25th, but was also thinking about going Friday the 24th. I was just wanted to see if people think it will be worth it to spend the extra money for the two day pass, as well as what people think the crowds will be like on Saturday. It's my first time to Kings Island so I'm not familiar with the park or what days are busy, etc. Thanks!

Does anyone know if the maximum height restriction is going to change? I know that it was the same on the website but I didn't know if maybe they just haven't changed it yet. When I talked to a Six Flags person a week or so ago they said that they won't know until they get the trains, but I thought they already had them? And they also said it depends on the height restriction placed on the ride by the ride manufacturer. That's why I'm kind of confused because if the restraints are basically the same as El Toro's, wouldn't Intamin get rid of the 76" max?

The number is probably so high as it includes the extension of the theme park down to where Superman is now located, as that was undeveloped when Superman was built. So the number is lower than that. It's unimportant now as he wasn't even referring to SROS. And Wikipedia puts restrictions on the editing of its information now, and I don't really see the benefit anyone would get from skewing that number. It's not like it's humorous or anything. Either way I still think it's a good idea on SFI's part to revamp these roller coasters. It brings attention to its parks and hopefully more guests.

Hey, what do you expect from a company that plans to spend 10 million dollars to renovate a ride that cost 5 and a half. Superman did not cost 5 and half million dollars. It cost 36 million (according to Wikipedia). I think it's a good idea because now people who loved Superman before will want to return to try out the "new and improved" Superman for themselves. I think it was a smart idea because now they don't have to build a whole new ride.

A person on another website said that they saw coupons at Dunkin Donuts today with ads for a "Bizarro" ride. That could be the new name of Superman. The colors fit perfectly and Lex Luthor created Bizarro, so that is how he is connected to the Bizarro theme. What does everyone else think? The colors are exactly the same as the ones Superman is being painted. I think we've found our new theme!
