  1. Heya Carnage, The park had maybe 2 or 3 thousand people in attendance. When I was eating in the car, I could see more people driving away vs. parking in. I'm still grumpy that I had to leave early!
  2. FYI: In case anyone was wondering about my avatar...It's the label of the first track on Behemoth.
  3. Friday, May 1st – Canada’s Wonderland Season Pass (Sneak) Preview Nite It was a long winter waiting for my home park to open up again! Just before my girlfriend and I made the turn onto Canada’s Wonderland Drive, I could see Behemoth running – feeling both relief (that it’s operational) and excitement. We didn’t get to park until a little after 6pm (SPPN ran from 6pm-10pm), and we also needed to get our season passes processed which took about 2 minutes as I had already bought e-ticket passes online. With the possibility of rain, the flu threat, no new attractions and maybe the economy, the park was dead, more so than any other SPPN I’ve been to. Every ride was a basic walk-on, thrill ride enthusiasts delight! We went through the park counter clockwise starting in Medieval Faire, got on Dragon Fire first and rode it twice without leaving our seats, we actually could have rode it again and again but I wanted to get on with the other rides. Made a quick ride on Spinovator, then over to the Drop Tower and then to Nightmares. The munchies set in, so we went back to the car and my cooler for some pops and egg salad sandwiches. If I was going for the whole day, I normally eat at the Market Place Buffet or we’ll walk across the street to the Greek restaurant (great food and they have a patio). Overall the food is ok at Wonderland, but like most parks it’s over priced and a beer being $10 w/small tip, again I’d rather take a 5-minute walk across the street or stack up my cooler with sandwiches. While we were eating in the car it rained for a few minutes (lucky timing), then we went back into the park and over to the Action Zone. Behemoth was calling! Rode in the front seat, great ride but the trim breaks were active. I was able to scoop an immediate second ride as I saw an empty seat as I was exiting near the middle of the train (nobody got bumped). My GF has yet to ride BeHe. Went over to ride on the Orbiter, then my favourite flat Psyclone. I needed to get up at 4am the next day, thus I had to force myself to leave the park. But not before I caught one more ride on BeHe. I got in 10 rides in a couple of hours, every ride ran smooth and the park staff was very pleasant. My only regret is that I had to leave early on maybe the lowest attendance ever for a SPPN or any other day. I AM A PASS HOLDER. LOOKING FOR A RIDE PARTNER, ANYTIME, DROP ME A MESSAGE! I didn’t take my camera into the park.
  4. Heya All! Nice to be here. I'm from Ontario, Canada - my home park is Canada's Wonderland (Season Pass holder since 1995, as a young lad I was at the park opening in 1981). If anyone ever needs a ride partner at CW, drop me a message. I'm an independent webmaster and audio producer. I enjoy photography, cooking (with fresh stuff from my garden!) and my XBOX 360. If you are wondering about my avatar pic...It's the actual label from the first track laid out during construction for BeHe (CW's Behemoth coaster).
