Yes, hydroblaster is long gone. No longer visible from the highway standing behind the former Tilter area/spot. All indications point towards waterpark expansion in 2015 with Imax gone, Tilter and Hydro gone.

With regards to the twitter post about Picnic Point, they are adding another pavilion seating area in the area behind the rest room Ripcord area. Saw it the other day when I went by the park. Hydroblaster and IMAX are also both now just distant memories as well...they're gone...

I feel bad for the family of the deceased woman, but also imagine how the employees must feel that were running the ride. Even if it was/wasn't there fault they were the ones who helped her in. It would be a hard thing to deal with, I've worked at another amusement park. If it happened to me I would feel horrible

I have a feeling the next thing Valleyfair will be seeing is the removal of the Imax. Compared to other park's of today the technology and setup of the theater is far outdated. And they've had issues w/the projector in the past. Removing it would make way for a good chunk of land for the waterpark.
