  1. ^Lol yeah, it's pretty much perfect IMO. It's got the same general shape as Xcelerators tophat, so it's a good candidate for a recreation (NO you may NOT use it).
  2. ^LOL, I handmade the cobra I'm sure there's an easy way to make it in 4 parts using HSAK and Purg. The next version will probably be HSAK primarily. And the loop was being a b!ach and I tried numerous times to remake, lolz. Same with the cobra.
  3. ^I made the tophat with many arduous hours of work. Probably 5-6 hours total, and even so I'm still tweaking it, but I think I've got it. only -0.6 lats, and that's probably just rotational laterals rather then side laterals.
  4. Yeah yeah, I know. I use +4.0/-1.4 verts, +/-2.0, and +/-1.5 accel for woodies. Steel coasters I like to push it a lot
  5. ^Somebody obviously hasn't heard of Arrow Remember Drachen Fire? forces of up to 2.7 were the norm in the first corkscrew.
  6. The OC is just going away... Now if only jackfrahn would release OC2.. Anyone want me to make a forum for numerous tool downloads? It'll include all NL extras
  7. Well that means your graphics card either needs a proper driver (check your graphics cards site) or you need a new graphics card.
  8. Still think you need to make the segments more even in length, and to use enough to get a good ammount of control over everything.
  9. ^Tisk tisk. Using colors is misleading. In some countries, the maximum vertical forces are legal up to +7 to -3g. In NL, those forces would be colored red. You should only use numbers to tell the force. Verticals often get above 4.6g on coasters like Vekoma/Arrows, some B&M's, a lot of Intamins, Giovanolas, and even Maurer. I use these values: +5.5/-2.0 verts +/- 2.0 lats +/- 2 accel Now provided the forces in the extreme range would be more painful then enjoyable, but that's a good way to measure forces.
  10. No, only small ones. Just drop it now, as my track is done and I really don't want to spend ANOTHER hour in Newton... Oh, and can you push the negative verticals to -1.2, as that would be a more realistic force, and in %50 and below my coaster hits -1.2 on this one hill, but looks -1.1 normally. Edit: NOO. My entry is a corrupted file Luckily, all of my elements are saved into my elements older
  11. Where's the fun in that You will find out in due time
  12. What, would you prefer "Forget it, I'm finding loopholes."? That doesn't put as much enphasis on the statement as the word "Screw" does. You see what I'm getting at? And I've been in many competitions, so I know how they're ran. I can help you out with the next competition to eliminate loopholes in the rules, if you want
  13. If you plan on posting anymore of these kind of comments, please drop out of the contest. If you ever hold a contest, I am not going to come and post this kind of stuff about it. It's really immature in my mind... Immature? You want to see immature, because I WILL show you if you think that is immature.. And I'm not dropping out. I have a completed layout. Newton is a program which was created to make track building easier. Of course, this allows noobs to create smoother tracks, of which are unrealistic most of the time. It's an "Easy FVD's" program in basicality. You can get it from CoasterCrazy, or CoasterSims.
  14. B&M goodness: I love B&M shapping, and Newton seems to make it perfect each time Only 1000 more feet to go and I'm onto supporting- which BTW isn't as easy as some say it is...
  15. Screw it, I'm finding loopholes
  16. ^Now that IS unique... B&M probably wouldn't do it. ever.. Only Swarzkopf has done it.
  17. ^Now that IS unique... B&M probably wouldn't do it. ever.. Only Swarzkopf has done it.
  18. ^Unusual has many defenitions- depending on who you are. The more "unusual" a track is, the better it can be. As long as it's smooth, and seems like it's attainable by B&M, then heck yeah, go for it
  19. I am not debating on whether or not I should find loopholes, or just fricken build.. I currently have.. awesomeness.. even though it may be similar to everyone elses coasters general track shape...
  20. No, just one comp at a time. Plus multiple comps in a row can be a bit nagging... Oh, yeah, and uhh you need to make the lift section longer, or drop that bit completely (highly recommended) in future comps. You want the layout to be creative right? Well where's the creativity in tracks that all have similar shapes?
  21. Red? It only gets to ~5.2 at the top- average Vekoma Boomerang force. Also, where are there pumps??
  22. I'm not the one to blame for the supports. Blame those on CCJared Eric: Only time vvv Volton_[R]_(CCJared).nlpack Fricken CCJared decided to name the file his..
  23. Uhh, is elementary allowed? Or Newton?
  24. ^I posted a download link to many of the gravimetric studios tools in the NoLimits help thread. You will need the Track Packager for this
