My family and I will be heading to Hershey either June 22nd or 23rd. None of us have ever been so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is Fast Track mandatory if we only have one day and likely won't be returning in the next five years? Is the all day dining deal worth $38? Thanks!

My son and I have registered for the Coaster Challenge at SFGAm this September. Proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of Illinois. We did this event last year and had a great time and felt good about raising money for a great cause. As I get older I find myself participating in more charitable events and love that one of my favorite pastimes intersects with philanthropy. My question is, what other charity events at theme parks are out there? I know there is Coasting for Kids at various theme parks each year. I'm hoping the lineup of parks is similar next year as we are planning a Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts coaster road trip next year. Any others?

That's disappointing to hear that you had a terrible experience with food service. I'm hoping they have it ironed out in two weeks. Congrats on getting to ride Maxx Force! I've only taken one lap...after two breakdowns while waiting.

Well Illinois is also testing near 80,000 people a day. By comparison we didn't test 40,000 a day until August 5th. But I digress. I completely agree that SFGAm could have opened last summer. We visited King's Island in July of last year and felt completely safe with the protocols in place and reduced capacity. What I fail to understand is how Six Flags was allowed to open Hurricane Harbor but not the theme park. Why were indoor entertainment venues open at a reduced capacity when an outdoor entertainment facility couldn't?

I think it's a bit more complicated than that. I do believe that the park management wanted to open the park last year but weren't able to because they didn't get approval from the state. The positivity rates, daily cases, and deaths are now significantly lower than they were last summer. In addition about 25% of the state is fully vaccinated at this point. Dining is open throughout the state. I don't see a reason SFGAm shouldn't open (with limited capacity) and be able to serve food at outdoor kiosks.

Oh I am going in with very low expectations. At $2 a punch it can't be that good. We have a gift card coming to us for the months we paid for the membership but couldn't use it. Considering we weren't likely to buy anything in the park anyway this seems like a good use of sunken cash. Here was the food lineup for that event. Menus? We enjoyed our first food and wine festival at Busch Gardens and loved every minute of it. I know this will be a much more mellow affair. I'm really curious about what they mean by the "best bites from around the Six Flags family of parks". Are there Six Flags parks that are known for their food?

We had a similar experience. My wife and I did wait in line for Invadr (40 minute wait) since we missed it the day before. It took us 6 hours to work through our 30 punches. Fortunately, everything was really good!

My family is going to be there on April 1st and 2nd. We will be in the Williamsburg area this Sunday through next Saturday. Does anyone have recommendations on local restaurants? We are into seafood, American, Mexican, and Italian food. Thanks!

No worries! Does anyone have details on the Food and Wine festival that starts on April 2nd? We will be in Williamsburg from March 29th through April 2nd with one day planned for Busch Gardens and the rest for sightseeing. I’m trying to figure out if it would be better to schedule our BGW day during the week or hold out until April 2nd.

Which literally ends on March 28th. We are going AFTER March 28th.

As of tomorrow they can operate at 50% capacity. We are heading to BGW just after March 28th. With it being spring break week I’m curious if they will have an expanded offering of rides.
