Ride time is about 7~8 min, theming is a great addition, there is a lot of fun fighting with other boats, and it's also a great way of cooling in the hot summer days!

This one is 726 pph. This is near to Hurakan Condor ride capacity, except that Angkor is a familiar ride. The ride have 14 boats (8 seats).

This past saturday was PortAventura's 1st National Theme Park Fans Workshop in Spain, and there was interesting talks from Luis Valencia (from a single idea to an attraction construction / PortAventura) and Maximilian Roeser (Attractions in the 21st century / Mack Rides) As the first talk was in spanish, here is the video of the second talk. "Attractions in the 21st century" Q&A A new render about Arthur and the Minimoys for Europa Park. Also, mr. Roeser presented a prototype/concept of a new water ride, rafting style. Some specs of this new ride: - Wild water ride within safe boundaries - Include rollercoaster sections - Steep drops - Lateral movement - Invisible guidance of the vehicles Unfortunately, no officially information (confirm or deny) about the existing rumours of the new ride for 2014 was given, so ... who knows ...

Rules are explained once you reach the top of the building and before riding King Khajuna, but there is always some people that may refuse to follow or just feel scary enough to forget them in middle of the drop! PortAventura started their "White Night" event for summer, some days the park will close at 4 am, with extra time to enjoy rides, more shows and additional fun with special street acts (live orchestra music, flamenco, foam party, dj's and so on ...). Today, some footage has been recorded @ PortAventura Park for the tv program Insane Coasters Wars (Travel Channel) regarding world's bests rollercoasters. Some coaster's fans have been asked to ride Shambhala and Furius Baco, to later give some review about their experience. Here are some pics: Source: PortAventura's facebook

This issue has been minimised since a couple of months ago. Only extremly wide leg/bigger thigh people may have some problems. Imo the seating issue is now at the same level of any other B&M hypercoaster. The best thing to avoid any unpleasant surprise is use the seat in the ride entrance and check the green sticker at the bottom part of the seat.

Today, some fire appeared in a zone between PortAventura and the petrochemical industry area near the park. The fire seems to be controlled now. 5 hectares are burned and 23 people have been evacuated for security. No personal risk / damages related. Just to make some comments: - The problem with the harnesses has been minimized, and in fact, the number of people who can't ride has been significantly decreased. Ride CM's have also improved the way they close the harnesses. - Before ride, be sure you check the seat outside the main queue. Keeping the head back to the seat while raisings the knees will help to close the harness. To add some freshly news, the 30th of June was PortAventura's first White Night, featuring extended opening hours from 10am to 04am (18h of fun!). During the day, Shambhala's queue was from 1h to 1h 45min. In the night, it increased to more than 2h! Even the park was flooded with people, it was a great new experience. The park also added new street animation (flamenco, music bands, capoeira, foam party, batukada, electronic music with DJ Ernest Codina...). FiestAventura (PortAventura's night show) was performed at 03:30 am. Here is a little video that I made with some photos. Enjoy!
