Well, I still haven't had a proper look at it (the DVD drive in my "home" PC doesn't recognise it, for some reason .. it only works on the laptop!) but what I have seen so far is great! Looking forward to many more like it in the future!
Thanks guys!!

Is another park just pushing it a bit TOO much.
If you spring for the gold Q-Bot at SFNE I wouldn't think so. You could wind up at SFNE around 3pm having done every coaster in the park going "now what?"

Oh ... errmmm .... what a dilemma!! *sigh* Ahh well, I guess we might HAVE to suffer a few hours over at Lake Compounce, then.
What a shame!! *GRIN*

^What a damn shame we're not getting that far West next year!
Never mind, I'm sure we'll find some good places on the East side (When we find time!)
Meanwhile, another of Rhymney Breweries offerings .....
At 5%, it's brewed with six (yes 6!) different malts and is quite tasty.
They call it Export ..... I can only assume that they do export it, but I think that tag just goes waaaaaaaay back to a time when "strong" beers could only be brewed for export.

Another quick update from over the water. Picked up some more Breconshire Brewery stuff on Wednesday evening.
A nice red ale with a great balance of Crystal & Black malts with Goldings & First Gold hops Very tasty!!
Tonights tipple. Rambler's Ruin @5.0%
Lovely colour but disappointing in the flavour department! Plenty of hops but no malt balance!!
Last nights beverage ..... Golden Valley @ 4.2%.

Good to see a report on IB. It was one of my fave parks of my visit in '99.
8 years is a lo-o-ong time ..... but hey, I'll be back there next year!

Just to let you know what tonight's beverage is (the Steam was last night!)
Red Dragon from the Breconshire Brewery. It says here " Vast amounts of crystal malts are blended into a complex grist of malted barley & wheat. A blend of hops provide the bite to compliment the biscuity malt characteristics of this exceptionally smooth premium ale."
Sounds good to me!
Even Munkeh likes it! A gorgeous red colour & a flavour to match!
A lively 4.7% (1047 O.G)

I thought I should just say that the "Buzzard's Thirst Ale" is/was a highly quaffable beer. A little cloudy but nice & refreshing with a fruity citrus twang! Ir reminded me of something but I can't put a finger on what! All I know is I've paid good money for worse beer! All in all, a highly commendable first attempt at full-mash craft brewing. Excellent!

Last one from current selection. Although tomorrow I'll be in Swansea with Juggler visiting friends. Plenty of beers will be quaffed & pics will almost certainly start appearing here Sunday evening!
Meanwhile .....
Greene King Abbot Ale. 5%ABV.
No glass shot tonight as this one's going straight from the bottle down the hatch!

Funnily enough, I've yet to try the Holy Grail ... as I've tried most of Black Sheep's brews. I'll get around to it one day .....
Meanwhile, tonights offering is one of Wells' beers that I haven't seen before, Bombardier Burning Gold (4.7% abv). Unlike the original Bombardier, which is quite dark & very fruity, this version (as the name suggests) is a golden ale. The flavour is beautifully balanced with a citrus hop bite without being overly bitter.
Just the thing on a warm summer's night!
Quite rare these days, Wells beers still come in pint bottles!

Well, it's been a while but I've been drinking stuff that's not really "Worthy" of mentioning on here!
However, an unexpected visit to Asda produced some great results with a nice pair (wa-hay!) from the Hook Norton Brewery finding their way into my basket!
"A fruity & full-bodied ale".
Next, it's Old Hooky at 4.6%.
They say "A pale, dry English bitter".
First up, 303ad. Apparently named after "The Year Of Saint George" & weighing in at 4.0% ABV.
A lovely pair!

Well, just back from the East Anglian Beer Festival, where 9 of us managed to taste EVERY beer on offer (& a few ciders!) A report on that should appear very soon.
Meanwhile, I'm finishing off the weekend with a Joseph Holt's "Fifth Sense" Premium Ale from Manchester. A pale tawny ale with an ABV of 5.5%, it has an intense hoppy flavour & aroma with a refreshing citrus bite.
Excellent!
One left over from the weekends festivities.

Thought it was about time I opened the JW Dundee's Craft Pack. So here's four bottles I had last night!
I'll give a fuller appraisal of each beer when I've had a chance to drink the other 8 bottles!!
Now that's just how a porter SHOULD look!
My favourite from this bunch.
Tastes as good as it looks.
American Pale Ale, Mmmmm!
Another interesting one.
This one was very nice.
A fine selection.

No work tomorrow, so it's 2 bottles tonight.
A smooth, powerful & full bodied beer. Light coloured with a nice hoppy aroma & a bit of bite.
Now for the St. George's, also @ 5.2%.
A strong, pale golden beer with a distinctly malty taste & a well balanced hop character.
First up is Daniel's Hammer @ 5.2%.
Daniel's Hammer from (Daniel)Thwaites & Young's St. George's Ale.
