Ocean Park have really taken advantage of its supreme locale. Look how green and beautiful when it was in the 80's, everything clean and tidy. The new expansion is a great, glad that they went for B&M for the new major coaster. But the new theme areas are too packed and messy, like the first part of Hair Raiser which goes to the back of house of the Polar Adventure, quite unsightly indeed... Btw, they are planning for a second expansion at the area further down the mine train (formerly known as Middle Kingdom), including a waterpark consisting of both indoor and outdoor parts, and 2 themed hotels. Looking forward.

Hi, I'm a new member from Hong Kong. Nice photos! Well I've been to Ocean Park for uncountable number of times. Glad to hear you found credits in it! When the Mine Train was under construction, we saw that "bird's cage" thing on the hill and the same thing came up into our minds: the interior support of a mountain, or a volcano perhaps! We looked forward with anticipation, but after some years, we got the whole picture with the "bird's cage" still there... Quite obvious now that it's part of the ride and nothing further will be done to it.

Hello, I'm Julius from Hong Kong. So excited cause I've never thought of becoming a member! Theme Park Review has been my top favourite site since I knew how to use the IE! NOT exaggerating! During those non-member years, it really put me off when I couldn't watch some of the videos. I love roller coasters, and flat thrill rides as well! That's why I wanted to be a member so badly. Perhaps I was kinda stupid those days... Finally I become a member, and I'm 19. Thanks! I never counted the number of coasters I've been onto (merely more than that of normal people i think...), but I did ride some good ones that some of you might not even know their existence. I'd be delighted to share with you all.
