  1. Year 2 Nothing really new happened to the park for its second year other then the unfinished building was torn down and was replaced by a seating area. The pictures I have are ones that a have comments on from myself. And Steffen if you mean that there are to many trees, I thought that but I think it looks cool because it is the only indoor park like that. Here are the pictures. Comments please. SCR39.BMP The water slides arn't very popular and since they are out of place I don't think they will last long. SCR38.BMP I love the small sand dunes on Dune Buggies but it takes up to much of a footprint for an indoor park. SCR37.BMP Surfin' U.S.A. is themed to a surfboard (red and yellow) on a wave (blue area). SCR36.BMP The new seating area. SCR35.BMP I also love the little pathway behind the loops. SCR34.BMP I love the bathrooms and the info buildingthat are in the back of the pathway.
  2. I meant for the park to be spread out like that I do have a plan but I won't release anything yet because I am going year by year.
  3. Thanks for the comments and Steffen do you mean it looks that way because it doesn't show the roof or because the park isn't crammed together like other indoor parks. P.S. Somethings aren't completely finished yet.
  4. Year 1 Here are the rest of the pictures from year 1. The are mostly of the Forest area. They put in a Intamin Micro Hyper called Cougar. It is my personal favorite in the park. The also have a drop tower called Falcon. The also have a couple other smaller rides. For more information on the building, it is 85 feet high with a max. ride clearance of 80 feet. I won't complete the roof because you wouldn't see inside then, so I just did a little of it. Now here are the pictures. Comments please. 5. Thanks for the comments. This update wasn't very good showing the indoor aspect, so it will be better on the next update. Though there will be no roof, since you can't go inside buildings in RCT2 like you can in RCT3.
  6. A huge new indoor park called Indoor Adventures just opened and I went on opening day to check it out. It is the world's largest, by size, indoor park. It opened with two roller coasters, a Vekoma custom looper and an Intamin Micro Hyper. The park has two themes, a beach theme and a forest theme that cuts the park in half. This update is of the beach section. So here are the pictures. SCR22.BMP Some water slides. SCR21.BMP The rest of Splash Falls. SCR20.BMP Surfin' U.S.A. 7. On the colors of the rides, they are the best I can find on RCT2 and make them look good. There is no wood under Cheetah Chase, it is metal supports on the ground. I will change the canvas color too. The hills after the first drop on Gwazi are there only to take up space instead of a long straight away. Shiekra hopefully will look good but there will be a problem with the inversion. The recreation is of the park now so no Python, but there will be a construction area.
  8. Update #11- Timbuktu Sorry it has been so long, but I got bored of this park and started to build the other one. But I decided to come back to this one. Here is the Timbuktu area of the park. Next I am going to do the Land of the Dragons and Stanleyville. I hope you like this update. 9. Sorry it has been so long. Lately I have been busy and not really posting what I have built. In this update I have built a new section, which is Spain. It has three rides plus a new roller coaster. I have also built a new roller coaster in the Wilderness section of the park. I'm not strong in Spanish, so if my Spanish is wrong please correct me. Comments and suggestions are welcome. 10. Year 6 For the park's 6th year they built a new B&M dive coaster called Apparition. It is located in the Coloma section of the park. It is only 150 feet tall but has a 180 foot drop that goes underground. It also has one vertical loop, the first for a dive coaster. The coaster is themed to a haunted mine. Here are the pictures. 11. Year 5 For this year the park has built an S&S combo tower called T.N.T. It has three towers and two of the towers shoot the car up and the other tower pulls the car up and then drops it. T.N.T. is located behind the amphitheater. Here are some pictures SCR155.BMP Looks like a new B&M for next year. SCR158.BMP The Whole Ride SCR157.BMP Base of the Towers SCR156.BMP The Queue.
  12. Year 4 For phase two of Coloma the park has built a mine train style roller coaster called Prospector. It is a fun little, family coaster with some nice theming to it. The park also announced that they are building a S&S combo tower in Coloma to open next year. So here are the pictures. 13. Year 3 I went to the park for opening day for their third year. The are in the process of building a two phase, brand new area. The new area is a mine town called Coloma. If you know your history, Coloma was a town during the gold rush were gold was discovered at Sutter's Mill. Phase one of the new are contains: Gold River Falls- Log Flume Pine Grove Grand Prix- New Station, Long Track Dodgem- Bumper Cars Driller- Enterprise An Amphitheater Sutter's Mill Restaurant and Shop Phase two of Coloma will contain a new roller coaster and more theming. 14. Year 2 Not much happened in this off season. All the park did was build a go- kart track. The park has become really popular and they are going to go ahead of their plan and build a new themed area to open by next summer. Here are some pictures of the go- kart track. SCR139.BMP The Track SCR138.BMP Pine Grove Grand Prix's Station
  15. Grand Opening Well today I went to the park for its Grand Opening. I just can't get over how sweet the entrance looks with Wolverine over it. The whole park is in dense woods. Most of the rides are hard to see from the main pathway. Muskrat was a fun little coaster, just like all the other wild mouses, though Wolverine is still the best coaster in the park. I did notice the lack of water rides at the park, which could be a disaster on hot days. I got to talk to the park manager and he said they plan on building different themed areas with this first area called the Wilderness. Here are the pictures from today. SCR136.BMP Sadly I had to leave. SCR137.BMP Overall Layout of Wolverine SCR135.BMP And the Helix. 16. Today I went to the park because they had a pro-opening/ media event. Not all the rides are built yet, but they did have a roller coaster and ferris wheel open so we could ride them. Wolverine, the coaster, was really fun. It had a good amount of airtime, a couple of head choppers, and a fun helix. The roller coaster does interact with the entrance, which I think is very cool. I think the park looks really cool so far. Here is the list of rides that are being built for the opening. 17. This park looks really nice. I just wish rct3 would work for my computer
  18. A new park has started to be built near where I live. So far all I know about the park, is that it is going to be called Pine Grove Theme Park. Today I went done to see the construction and to a couple of pictures. It looks like the entrance is finished and they have started started on construction behind it. I also heard a rumor that a ride will interact with the entrance building. Here are the pictures. SCR116.BMP Nice brick pathway and landscaping. SCR115.BMP I like the cottage look of the entrance.
  19. I am also from Fort Wayne, the most boring place on earth. Nice trip report though.
  20. I would have to say The Voyage, because it never lets up throughout the ride.
  21. That will come soon. Right now I am working on Timbuktu, then I am going to do the Land of the Dragons, then I will get to Stanleyville.
  22. Here is the rest of Nairobi. I think this is one of the better areas so far. Rhino Rally seemed to be in an area of its own. On Rhino Rally the cars do go through the water portion of the ride. You can also see some of Timbuktu in some of the pictures, which is the next section I am doing. Thanks for looking. 23. Nice photos. I will be going there Tuesday for my first trip of the season.
  24. I finished up with Myombe Reserve and Edge of Africa. I also have done most of Nairobi. I was going to wait to finish Nairobi, but I am leaving for Chicago for a few days so I will update now. I think the more I build the park the more it looks to be the real thing. I hope you like this update.
