Nemesis and Oblivian at Alton Towers in the UK.Also happens to be a fantastically designed park

I seem to see a pattern emerging.Why is it that lots of people have this love hate/relationship with Magic Mountain? Being an Aussie its difficult to know why so many people appear to hate this park but at the same time it seems to contain many ppl`s fav coaster.Me no understand.

Congrats to all involved on this site. Its wicked. Just wondering if you would ever head down under. Admitedly we dont have a huge amount of coasters..there is about 8 in totat at least all conveniently located within 10 minutes of each other on the Gold Coast. But Lethal Weapon,Superman the escape and Cyclone are all pretty awesome

Have to say congrats to all involved,this is a wicked site.Having been to Europe and the UK back in 98 i havnt had a chance to to go to the US yet but some of these coasters look absolutly awesome.I think i would sell my soul to go on X at SFMM.I was just wondering what everyones #1 fav coaster was.I think my fav would have to be `Nemesis` at Alton Towers

i also notice your from the UK.whats your favourite coaster there? I was there in 98 just after they added Oblivion at Alton Towers.That was pretty kewl for its time.Nemesis was also crazy I also went to Blackpool but the `Big one` was closed due to high wind..gotta hate that

Cyclone used to be the `Big Dipper` at Sydneys Luna Park.I actually found it quite tame.Not a huge amount of air time (although we were sitting in the middle) I also found it frustrating that the staff who were running it the day we were there must have been really slow because it was literally taking about 10 minutes per ride.Overall it wasnt bad but i wouldnt rave

Australians will remember `The Thunderbolt` at Dreamworld..that was a shocker!! (thankfully this has since been pulled down and `cylcone` has been added) I thought Space Mountain At Disneyland Paris was pretty rough too.
