  1. no footers, just lots of orange cones for some wierd reason and its all dirt asnd stuff and i havent heard anything of a webcam. that would be nice.
  2. not to change the subject which has evidently gotten off track, but i went to valleyscare on staurday and checked out the situation on renegade and u cant go past the giftshop kittycorner from the pirateship. its all blocked off. and behind the giftshop is all cleared for the ride and there are piles if wood laying around the site. i mean i understand that u r all having an in depth coversation about b & m, but this is a valleyfair topic forum.
  3. im going to valleyfair tomorrow hopefully so if i see anything as far as renegade i will let you all know
  4. ive just read through every page of this topic and im pissed off. all you crackheads who think you can predict what renegade is going to be like can kiss my ass. Why do you care about airtime so much. It cool yeah, but it shouldn't be your deciding factor on hating or loving a coaster especially when its not even 2 feet tall yet. so just quit f***ing complaining and be patient. as a minnesotan and loyal fan of valleyfair, im standing up for my amusement park. im pumped to be getting an out and back/twister GCI at my park and im sure my fellow minnesotans feel the same way.
  5. yeah mall of america is across the street from the airport and valleyfair is about 15 miles southwest of there
  6. power tower's structure is 275 ft but the distance you fall is 250 ft. so i guess 275 is their limit.
  7. true, i suppose they could fit a boatload of coasters if they had the twisted minds of b &m. do they own any land past excalibur? they could build on the edge of the parking lot or over part of it that is never full like magic mountain did with scream. im just really excited to finally get something new to look forward to at VF.also with most of their rides being so short in height, they could build like a millennium force type a coaster and easily overlap over small rides and intertwine it with other things. it doesnt have to be that tall though considering VFs height limit. as long as its at its max as high as possible 250-300 ft. VF would see the largest crowds its ever seen if they invested in an intamin gigacoaster.
  8. no doubt a b&m at VF would be the bomb and im always hopefull. i think VF may be running out of room though. i mean where are they going to build besides difficult locations such as over the parking lot and into the mn river valley marsh
  9. if this potential plan for an invert of floorless in 08 is true, i sure hope valleyfair takes advantage of their height limit and build it moderately tall. they'd have enough of a height ceiling to make it taller than the tallest inverts and floorless-superman krypton coaster and alpengeist. even i dont see what the point of building an invert that tall would be. fo rsome reason however, i dont believe that they will get a coaster in 08. its taken them 4 years since steel venom to get another coaster and that was only 8 Million. if they invested in a b&m, they wouldnt have enough money to build anothe until our kids are our age.
  10. this coaster is gonna be tight as hell. i saw the pov on valleyfair.com and it looks sweet. it seems much faster than it says it is. i mena in that video it looked like you were going like 80. but its actually only 53. we'll see. it should be a great addition to a nice park. look forward to many pictures from valleyfair from me as well as POVs of renegade ( when it opens) wild thing, excalibur and maybe steel venom
  11. i live in st. paul, mn and i usually take at least 3 trips to valleyfair every year and up to 10 times a season. so for all of you who want pics of renegade, i will ge them for you. yes that also includes onrides. i specialize in onrides. we probably wont be able to see much until next season though.
