Yeah, Starliner wasn't all that and a bag of chips -- but the fact that it was the first coaster built in Florida is what will keep saving it. Its got a historical significance that others didn't have. For example, I thought the Tornado at Petticoat Junction was a much better coaster and was built just a few years after SL -- it was probably Florida's best wooden coaster (not a fan of Gwazi), but it wasn't enough to save it from the wrecking ball in the 1980s.
