50% or more of the best, most informative, thoughtful, polite, and well-written posts I read here are from the member's group of 12 through 17 years of age. What's really gets me is the posters from my age group (you'll recognize us. We look kinda like this: ) that do that "lol" thing. "lol" this, "lol" that. I've actually started pronouncing it "LOL!" around crusters my age that think they're oh-so-funny, but basically they're just old grabby boors. lol

I think she needs as much kindness as we can shower upon her.

That poor little girl. This horrible news brought tears to my eyes. I may be Captain Bringdown when it comes to tragedies like this, but I cannot, for the life of me, find anything humorous whatsoever in this abject horror. I hope that we will eventually be informed where we may be able to send this little girl our best wishes to her, and let her know that we care. That poor little girl.
