  1. Excellent Trip Report... I have tickets and fastpasses to go on the 27th. Should be a great time. How long was the wait time for the rides? Was the mummy open?
  2. I will be heading up there on the 27th of October with my Brother and 2 friends if anyone is looking to hook up with a group. We sprung some extra money for the HHN Fast Pass too. So, if you have or are going to be getting tickets for that night with the fast passes, then you are more than welcome to join in. Just drop me a line on here and we can set it up. It's always better to go as a group. HHN 2006
  3. Looks like you had alot of fun. How did you come to have an exchange student with you anyway? Also, I never made it to BTTF last stand, had to work and I think I will regret it. Looks like a good day at the parks.
  4. I am sorry people are beating up on your plan for Disney. Your vacation is just that, YOURS. Use it as you see fit, and have a great time. If I may be allowed to make an observation? If you do go to Disney and are only interested in doing the coasters then you might be able to do the 4 parks in one day with your park hopper. But, I think you may be missing out on alot of the fun. I know I will probably catch hell for this, but, there are more to the parks than coasters. There are alot of great shows as well. I posted a few TPR's over the last 6 months, a few of them from Disney parks. Check out my profile, and you can read all of my posts. I do want to re-iterate Universal though. I know you mentioned you were on a budget. Truthfully, if you buy a ticket to both Universal and IOA one day two park pass, as well as the fast pass, which usually is only about 30 dollars total for both parks, you can do almost everything in both parks in one day. It will make for a long day, but I have done it plenty of times. It will probably cost you a total of about 120 dollars, give or take. Also, they are having Mardi Gras right now, and though I have never been, I hear it is a great time.
  5. You have alot planned for a few short days, but don't forget about Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. If you are looking for coaster credits... The Hulk, Dueling Dragons, also, I am not sure if it is a coaster credit or not, but the Mummy as well. Is that a credit? being that it's indoors? Maybe someone can square me away on that. Not that I am trying to talk you out of Disney by any means, but Universal is every bit as good, if not better. And one more And This as well You just HAVE to get this credit
  6. Thanks for the help JT3000!! I was looking for someone that might be able to tell me the best night to go, the best way to get the lowest prices, and other things to do at the park during this time. I am taking a somewhat large group as well. Are the rides still open at night? Is it just one parade each night? Or like other parks, do they come by like once an hour? Thanks for the tip on the concert stage..
  7. Okay, I have never been to Universals Version of Mardi Gras. I am taking a few friends up there and was looking for some tips on how to go about it, and what is the best part to see. Any help would be great.
  8. I went to Halloween Horror Nights Universal and Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream this year, I have never been to Disneyworlds Halloween themed party. It looks like it was quite a bit of fun. I think I'll have to go there next year with my little Sister. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Nice pictures. Love the T-shirt. You made mention of Back to the future closing at Islands of Adventure. Is it for certain, and when will it be?
  10. Each year I go to both, and I always have favored halloween horror nights. But, this year I think Howl-O-Scream is a bit better. The walkthroughs are just more intricate, and don't seem as packed. However, the Bill and Ted show blows everything else out of the water, and it's not like the houses are bad at Halloween Horror nights by any means, I just think they could be a bit better.I have only been to HHN, not HOS. So I can't judge. I heard the new house was really good and it was one of the best of the year. Also, I wish they would have expanded the Scarezones for HHN since they have put it in Universal. I agree about more scarezones. Since they compacted it to just universal this year, they should put more stuff up. The only thing I can think of is that they are trying to save money by not hiring more actors this year. from what I am told, they don't really make much money at these things, they just do it to get the exposure because this time of year can be kind of slow.

  12. This years Florida Halloween events were terrific. Started off at Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-Scream on Friday the 13th. I went with my roommate, we bought tickets online a month ago. We opted for the Haunted tour, complete with a "Ghoul Guide." If you have never been to this event before, I highly recommend getting the haunted tour. 20 people were supposed to be in our group, and only 8 of us actually showed up, so it wasn't to big. We got front row seating for the shows. And then went straight through to the haunted attractions with no wait. The haunted attractions were very well done, complete with tons of fog and scary noises in the background. The only thing I was bummed about is that the guided tour didn't come with fastpass access to the rides after the tour. They sell booklets at the opening of the park where you can go on each walk through house and coaster ride with no wait. But, they were sold out when we got there. Oh well, better luck next year. Halloween Horror Nights 16 @ Universal studios Orlando..... Went with a roommate and 2 other friends. I went the weekend prior, so I knew my way around. Had the fastpass once again, and like I said before, it was well worth the money. No more than 15 minute wait on all 7 haunted attractions. Bill and Ted's show is awesome, and it plays 7 times a night. They did change it this week, you couldn't get front access to the Bill and ted's show like you could last week. There were alot of people upset about that, but really every seat is a good one anyway. Until next year Biker chicks rock Nice harleys The bad girls Right this way What's the word? You can't hide Again this year Is it wrong to be attracted to the un-dead? You won't find this attention to detail anywhere else Nice float Just look up for directions Bill and Ted Didn't look real... Until it moved big crowd tonight Voice and all This guy is dead on scary Just in case you didn't know where you were Welcome Yes ma'am, you can do anything you would like to me HARD ROCK cafe.... Great place for dinner Time for HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS The HUNTED Wow, nice fro Hey, whats up Sorry, running out of pictures to post Watch all around Oops, my bad What is this? Talking headstones, cracking jokes all night CLUB MUSE, part of After Hours Lots of houses this year 3rd Dementia... Very trippy. One more shot They have these sound stages set up all over the park. Dance between rides AFTER HOURS haunted house... Cool music, good props, great house Show lasts about 30 minutes More hot girls Good character actors Our lead character for DECEASED Kind of hokey, but still funny the show CONTROL ALT= DECEASED Might have to try out next year Dancing girls anyone? FIENDS has it all FIENDS show... Very amusing, and all of the girls in the show didn't hurt
  13. Great pictures. The pictures I took of HHN didn't turn out that great, yours kind of fill in the gap Where was the car crusher though? I don't remember seeing it.
  14. Lights Motor action is seperate from Indiana Jones Stunt show.
  15. I took my Brother to Disney MGM studios because he had never been there before. We got to the park at about 9 am. There was a sign saying that the Chronicles of Narnia and Tower of Terror were closed..... I was not pleased about this... But, halfway through the day, tower or terror opened up. Lines weren't to bad. Aerosmiths rockin' roller coaster was the longest. But, we got our little fast passes from the booth, and came back an hour later, and the wait was only about 20 minutes. For those who have never seen the Indiana Jones stunt show, I would highly recommend going to it. I have seen it a few times before, and it still catches me by surprise in a few parts. I also went to the stunt spectacular with cars, motorcycles and jetskiis. I have never seen this attraction before, and thought it was very neat. Those little cars have motorcycle engines in them, they were pretty powerful. Also, I went on the backlot tour, same as always, but interesting to those who have never seen it before. Last one. Until next time...... They light up this whole place with Christmas lights every Year. It's amazing. Looks real doesn't it? Downtown New York, or is it San Fransisco? Entrance for the stunt show. Black cars represent the bad guys. Herbie the love bug! Got plenty of em'. Baddest car around. Epic stunt spectacular Part of the backlot tour Last Indiana pic Sorry I couldn't get a better picture. Plays just like the movie. 2 different stages in Indiana Jones stunt show Indiana Jones stunt show. Come back to star tours soon! Buy yours today for the low, low price of 1 million space bucks. C-3PO says Hi. Command central This tour pod is down due to lazer blast malfunction From Luke Skywalkers point of view. Time to go in... Kind of an old ride, but still cool. Star tours anyone? This is NOT the actual coaster track, but, that would be cool. That's a mighty big guitar you have there. Aerosmith's rockin' roller coaster And one more Another... Tower interior And one more of the outside. Another shot... There it is...... The best ride there Disney MGM Studios... I believe this is Mickey's apprentice hat.
