Parc Astérix, the Compagnie des Alpes group's flagship leisure destination, reached a new milestone in 2025 with nearly 3 million visitors (2.9 million). This confirms its position as the second most visited amusement park in France. Carry by this positive momentum, the park has unveiled an ambitious development plan, backed by an investment of €250 million by 2030.
CÉTAUTOMATIX VOTED BEST NEW ATTRACTION OF THE YEAR IN EUROPE
Parc Astérix is proud to announce that its new family attraction Cétautomatix has won the prestigious 'Top European New Attraction' prize at the Parksmania Awards 2025, an accolade given to the most innovative and outstanding new additions to the leisure park sector. Cétautomatix is Europe's first spinning family roller coaster.
LES FASTES DU NIL CROWNED BEST NEW FOOD OR RETAIL OUTLET IN THE WORLD
Le Parc Astérix was once again honoured at the Park World Excellence Awards 2025*, receiving the award for Best Food or Retail Development for its new restaurant Les Fastes du Nil. This award recognises both the excellence of the restaurant's overall concept and the iconic success of its signature dish, the Merguez Burger, which has captured the appetite of park visitors.

PARC ASTÉRIX CONTINUES ITS TRANSFORMATION WITH A TRULY AMBITIOUS DEVELOPMENT PLAN UP TO 2030
Parc Astérix is embarking on a major transformation :
Transformation of the Egypt area in 2026 with the re-theming of the Oxygénarium attraction, which becomes The Descent of the Nile
Les Chaises Volantes becomes The Flight of Ibis and the Le Cirque restaurant becomes Le Comptoir d'Epidemaïs.
Creation in 2027 of a new area in the Greek zone with two new family attractions, a playground and a restaurant, La Table de Dyonisos, with a capacity of 450 seats.
The Odyssée Hotel 4* in 2027: a new 300-room hotel (High Environmental Quality) expands the hotel complex inspired by Asterix and Obelix's travels in the East, with four areas: Persia, Mesopotamia, Egypt and Phoenicia.
Creation of the Londinium Zone in 2028: a new indoor zone inspired by the Asterix in Britain comic book
This plan will create 20% additional capacity at the park, two-thirds of which will be indoor, reducing dependence on weather conditions. In addition, the hotel complex will offer 750 rooms with the opening of the Odyssée Hotel. Last but not least, this ambitious plan aims to achieve the highest satisfaction ratings among the best parks in Europe.
