YourLocalWeatherman
Hey All! Now, I don't believe that I'm a good RCT2 park builder, but I'm learning. I admire the people (such as coasterbill, (forgot his name) the creator of the RCT2 Liseberg recreation), and various other creators, but I'd like to make my own park, using only in game materials. So, here we go! Expedition Fair is a (fictional) Theme/Amusement park line that specializes in large and detailed amusement parks. The first of which was founded in Leesburg, Virginia, hence the parks name, Expedition Park Virginia. The park was rushed into opening the park to gain revenue due to a small budget, so only two rides surfaced, but that will likely change! So without further ado! Very Bland Plot of Land. Might some tree planting be in order? Bland Entrance Pre-Construction First Roller Coaster is Cannonball Express! This is a very odd Premier Rides coaster, with a very twisty track. This is Intended To Be a coaster for all ages! Overview of Cannonball Express! More updates to come! Also, I appreciate criticism, or techniques to name realistic scenery. Thanks! TheCoasterKid211
Looks nice so far! You definitely want to add more flat rides and foliage in the future, but this is a really good start. Keep it up!
YourLocalWeatherman
Thanks! Also, I have been working on an update, but I didn't finish it. This update will include several flat rides, and some restaurants as well. The next update should be tomorrow, so stay tuned!
YourLocalWeatherman
Hello Again! I am back! Let's recap on the details I will miss presenting my newest additions to Expedition Park - Virginia! -New flat rides, such as twister, a scrambler (or as I believe it was called Scrambled Eggs in RCT1), a row boat ride, and a Merry-Go-Round! -New themed area (still WIP), called Western Frontier! Here we go! New log flume ride! This is a compact ride, but it sure packs a punch! New Restaurant in Western Frontier called Grub Cafe. This features outdoor seating, with several selections of wild west food! In this corner... Manufactured by GCI, we have Bullseye! This GCI coaster surely packs a punch! While it doesn't deliver much airtime, it has many twists! Overview of Bullseye Park so far, with a brighter background (colored in using Paint.NET) See you next time! YourLocalWeatherman
Welcome Back! Well, during the offseason, B&M signed a contract to work with Expedition Park Virginia. The Budget For a New Attraction Was ~5-10 Million $. A wing coaster was a possibility, until management learned that maintaining such a large car would make a deficit over time. The decision was made to make a Floorless Roller Coaster. While it gives the same wing-like effect, it is cheaper to maintain. So without further ado! Showdown is the parks third coaster. While I am not showing the other flat rides, there will most likely be a magic carpet ride added into Western Frontier. Like most wing coasters, Showdown features a wing over drop, or in this case, a wingless over drop. The open trains give a similar sensation to flying. Twists and turns closing in on the station Photo Shop upon the exit of Showdown. Personally, I like the design of the Photo Shop! New Skyride Station to go over a most likely unthemed area. In my opinion, it's not my best work for a station. Might some foliage change my mind? Overview of the park. It might seem like space is an issue, but I assure you, the park is only 10-20% done. Even once it's done, I'll need to fix some buildings I don't seem fit. See you guys next time!
YourLocalWeatherman
Hey All! Now, I apologize for double posting, but I'd like to get an update out, because I have a busy week ahead of me, and I only may be able to finish a tiny fraction of things needing to be added. I refurbished the Skyride entrance area. I believe that this was the better choice. I also revamped a help desk in the middle of Western Frontier. Another (questionable), but beneficial choice. I had a serious problem with Guests. The Park's Rating Dropped down to 660. I hired some handymen, and that helped, but to get the score to a perfect 999, these trains should help. This transport system will go around the entire park! Next potential Themed Areas. Expect Kiddie Cove, a pirate themed family/kid area. More updates to come!
