MattJackson Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Hey everybody! I made a park in the past, but my computer crashed, and we lost all of our files. We're good now, so here's a new park. The pics are in the next post. I'm open to any comments and suggestions. Thanks
MattJackson Posted April 18, 2006 Author Posted April 18, 2006 Okay, I got photoshop back up and running. They're the same photos, but everyone can see them without downloading them. Here you go, they're better quality, and you can see the ones that were dark. I'll close this up with a photo of the spashboats. Here, you can see the same thing, but in a different angle. You can see how the layout goes around the lift hill here. You can see my makeshift tunnel, but I'm very proud of it! Silver Star has a very good exitement rating. It now goes around a lot of other rides, the section is build around it. You can see the twisted layout here, and the B&M dip I've grown to like, and the first drop. Okay, this is the B&M sitdown, Silver Star. I think that name is taken by a real life B&M, so I'm thinking about another name for it. Here, you can see how the coaster interacts with the midway. The basic layout, lift, first drop, cobra roll, and hill with probably no air, but its better than a flat section! Here is the middle of it, the opposite corkscrews and pat of the lift. Here is the corkscrew coaster station and ending. I hate the ending, but hey, whatever.
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 It says that people see my pictures, yet I get no responses. Help me out here, people!!
hardtosay1227 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Hey. This park is pretty good but...............whats the name of it?what are the names of the coasters?why is the corkscrew so close to entrance? and idk if your going for realistic or not but the coasters seem a little unrealistic,BUT i like the park post some more pics once you add some theming...you should check out my park....(african adventures)
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 Yeah, I saw your park, and it was cool!! I didn't decide in a theme, or a name for the park yet. I always put a corkscrew at the front of the park, but I plan to move it to a more suitable location when the pathing system expands more. The B&M won't move, but the corkscrew is moving to the middle of the park when the pathing gets more advanced. I'll post more pictures of what I did tomorrow. Thanks for responding!!
phazan Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 I like that coaster! The way it is set up and everything, it looks nice with the rest of the park. If you add some trees and busshes aroun the coaster, that would probably be cool, but thats just me, you might have a different idea.
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 Yeah, I always go for the generic "parky" themes, like scattered trees, flowers, stuff like that. I didn't put them in earlier because I didn't feel like pushing a mouse button repeatedly for like 5 minutes at a time, and I don't think there is a mode where you push the mouse button, and have many trees randomly placed with one click. Thanks! More updates in like an hour!
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 Okay, more like two hours, but an update is here!! I didn't really do anything new, exept I had to fire a mechanic who had like 94% laziness! No scenery this time, not yet. Here are the new pics... I'll close this with a pic of the midway near Corkscrew, Yeah, despite its awkward location, Corkscrew is doing rather well. Just a minute after the breakdown was fixed, peeps started flocking to Silver Star. Going up the queue stairs in an RCT3 morning to Silver Star. This is Silver Star's queue line, in the eyes of a guest. You can see the double-swinging inverter in the back. Of course the launch towers get no love...they haven't had a single rider. The invertigo boomerang, in the next area to be developed. My unique inversion, the corktwist! (lol) Two fully loaded trains...right after a break down. These are the Go-Karts that run near Silver Star.
Mustang II Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 O.k.... that B&M is just very unrealistic, the vekome is o.k, but the track over the station looks out, also...build stations, add trees, increase your graphics, add water, but most of all, theme the park.
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 Yeah, I've heard that the B&M is unrealistic, but how so? I want to fix that!! I'm going to do some theming a little later on.
Mustang II Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 It's a very tight layout for such huge inversions, use Kumba as a layout model.
MattJackson Posted April 19, 2006 Author Posted April 19, 2006 OHH!! You mean that its very compact!! Okay, I can start over with a new coaster in that area, I don't think I can just weak it at this point. Thanks! This is the kind of support I'm talking about!
hardtosay1227 Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Hey As far as the B&M being unrealistic my opinion is that everything is good until the hill after the loop. i think when we say unrealistic we mean we just wouldnt see it in a real park....which is fine but if you are going for realistic you should change some stuff ........and the trains look kinda small try adding some moer cars other than that i like it....it's original. try adding a less common coaster so you can be more creative with it.
MattJackson Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 Yeah, I built the coaster before I got the update patches. That's the longest I could go with that coaster type. I got the latest patch, which allowed me to not only get longer coasters, but I can also build tunnels, and I got more scenery. I'm working on it now. Here are some pictures of the longer trains and the launch towers are finally pulling in a few bucks now. New coaster coming soon!! ...and the new trains that run pretty much the same as the old ones. Here are the launch towers with some business
Mustang II Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Place floor below the station, it looks like the peeps have to jump if they want to get on the coaster XD
hardtosay1227 Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 yay! normal sized trains I really wanna see this park when you theme it!
