Intamin Giant Drop E-Falls

I've heard of various Intamin Giant Drops doing a E-Fall. I've been told by 2 seperate people that from one person that when it happens "You Just Drop and Hit the brakes as normal" And another said " You just slowly go back down the tower" They both sound somewhat normal.

But what one is it? or is it not that. Please Fill me in here.

It's all dependent on the situation basically. If there's an entire power-outtage with only a backup to spare, then they'll drop the gondola from where the winch car stopped, but if it's say a mechanical failure, and the ride ceases for some point or another and needs to be dropped from where it is, it's all just a matter of using the over-riding controls.

 

You'll always notice with Ride Trade freefall rides is that if there's more than one gondola involved there'll be one large "main" console and the other consoles for the other gondolas usually only involve two or three buttons.

Thanks for clearing that up, In Regards to the Main Console thing I've noticed that too, The one at Dreamworld is on The western side, I presume the buttons on the other one are Dispatch, Harness lock/unlock.
