Dollywood or Cedar Point?

Hello Mr. Alvey,

I have been inbetween on going to Dollywood or Cedar Point for 2014 and it has led to this question. I do want to go to Dollywood because of the selection of rides and the immersion I get while being in the theme park, as well I am highly into waterparks and the Dollywood waterpark would be a great place to get slide credits. With that, I have never been to Cedar Point, and I could gain many "major" coaster credits for my ranking, but at the same time, Soak City doesn't seem to be a great waterpark to visit. Any advice?

Cedar Point. And you'll need at least 2 days to just get all the coaster credits. It's simply a "must visit" for a coaster enthusiast.

I'm a big fan of Dollywood because I probably lean slightly more to being a "theme park" enthusiast than a roller coaster geek, and I do feel that Dollywood probably does have the better water park out of the two.

 

But Cedar Point does have one of the best collection of roller coasters around.

 

I don't think you could go wrong with either option, to be honest.
