Hello TPR!

I will be going to Six Flags Magic Mountain this Thursday (tomorrow) with my cousin . I was wondering how long the lines would most likely be... Unfortunately my cousin heard from a friend that his school will be going to SFMM for an end of year trip which means that many other schools might be going as well. Basically,if most lines are 45 minutes+ I'll purchase a gold flash pass because this is one of the few times I'll be able to make it to the park. Should I wait till I arrive at the park and see how the crowds are or go right ahead and purchase the flash pass online? How quickly do the flash pass units sell out? Thanks!

It's most likely that it will be fairly crowded all day since Thursdays for the next few weeks are grad days for a lot of schools. If you're going to get the flash pass, I don't really think you need to buy it online if you're worrying about them selling out. They don't sell out that quickly. You should go straight to X2 or Tatsu, then go back and get your flash pass (know you have to pay extra if you want to use the flash pass on X2; Tatsu comes standard). Lines will probably vary, with X2 reaching 90 minutes, Tatsu following with around 60 I'm guessing. The other rides will probably be 20-30 minutes, reaching 45 possibly at peak times. This is only a guess though, as any day can be different there.
