theGrayZone Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 The other day I was looking up videos on homemade (backyard) waterslides. Most of the vids featured creations that could have gotten their builders nominated for darwin awards... but there were some pretty cool ones in the mix too. That led to checking out videos of a few slides in Costa Rica... insanely fast and dangerous ones... that looked pretty awesome at the same time (Maybe that's where some (tr)Action Park designers relocated?). Following the degrees of separation... I then found some sale snipe add featuring the Lego Mindstorms "Falling Water" kit... for a blocks model of the "Falling Water" architectural attraction in Mill Run PA. Then after some image searching and wiki readings on "Falling Water" ... I ultimately got to this random article on the topic: Snowless Tubing Hill - Jellystone Resort - Mill Run, PA I hadn't heard of this and didn't see any articles/TR's here on TPR yet... so thought I'd post the link for info and to see if anyone's checked it out. Another detail about that particular resort is they just received an in-house (Jellystone Park franchise) award for "Entrepreneur of the Year" this May for their growth in business over the past year (as reported on the Jellystone Journal blog). The campground features waterslides and more. Might be a nice little spot for a trip and report... Anyone been there, done that...?
