I'm going to be going on a college road trip for my daughter in the next couple of weeks (wants engineering so we are looking at RPI, Cornell, and RIT), but along the way we are hitting some parks that none of us have been to yet. But the question is, how tough are the restraints on a couple of the rides since I really struggle to fit on several rides. Most of my weight is in my belly, so I usually lift it up when I put down a lap bar. If this helps gague my size...

Fit on Arrow/Vekoma sit-down coasters (ex. Boomerang, Corkscrew, Anaconda, Rock n Roller Coaster)

Fit on Steel Force and Revenge of the Mummy.

Never Have Been Turned Away From a Wooden Coaster

Can't Fit on SFNE's Bizarro.

Never Been Able to Get on a B&M (Denied on Inverts, Floorlesses, & Hulk even in Big Boy seats- haven't tried hyper yet)

Can't Fit on SLCs (Maybe not a bad thing)

However, I am extremely close on all of these except Bizarro. I'm off by a click. I used to get the belt on when it was S:ROS, but the lapbar wouldn't work.

So which coasters/rides would I have a problem with?

Martin's Fantasy Island

Crazy Mouse- I got on on Primeval Whirl, so I'm good, right?

Flight- Is there a weight limit?

Darien Lake

Motocoaster

Ride of Steel- I have heard the restraints are move favorable than Bizarro's. Is that true?

Seabreeze

Bobsleds- Is there enough room in the cars if I have a whole row to myself?

Whirlwind- I got on Pandemonium, but this is a different manufacturer.

Marineland

Sky Screamer- I got on Canobie's Star Blaster, but have been denied from Dragon's Descent and Down Time at LC.

Topple Tower- I've never ridden a Huss ride before.

Canada's Wonderland

Behemoth- I really want to ride this. Can I get on? I've heard these are favorable to big people.

Drop Tower- Couldn't get on KD's Volcano. Same restraints?

Sledge Hammer- Same thing about the Huss restraints.

Time Warp- How much room are in the cages? I fit on the Zamperla Kite Flyers, but not on Dartron Cliff Hangers.

Vortex- Same as Big Bad Wolf? I was able to get on the Wolf.

I'm actually leaving on a similar trip this Friday.

I haven't been to the parks yet, but just assuming that this would be what would happen.

At Martin's Fantasy Island, I assume you will get on Crazy Mouse since the restraints must be the exact same as those on Animal Kingdom's Primeval Whirl. Flight has the same restraints as a normal wave swinger I think except that you must have a partner.

At Darien Lake, I have a feeling that Ride of Steel could be tough since the park had the accident back in 1999 where a man was ejected.

Bobsleds shouldn't be a problem from what I have seen. Whirlwind would have different restraints since it is a Mauer-Sohne model compared to a Gerstlauer, but I've heard that most spinning coasters are quite accomodating, so you should be safe.

At Marineland, I'm not too sure on either of those rides. I've seen several people have to get off a Huss Top Spin. But the thing that confuses me is how you got on Star Blaster, but not Dragon's Descent since both rides have the exact same restraints.

Vortex should be safe since you rode Big Bad Wolf before its demise. Then, I'm guessing Time Warp and Behemoth could be ridden because I've heard in the past that they are more accomodating than they actually appear. But with Drop Tower, it uses the same restraints as Volcano from what I have seen in pictures.

I hope you enjoy your trip and I hope this helps!

As far as Behemoth, I'd say it's going to be very close at best.

If you can't fit their other coasters, then I'm guessing no.

The Intimidator seats though have more butt room than the other 3 B&M hypers I've been on, so I'm not sure if Behemoth is that way, but I'm thinking not from my rides on Diamondback.

Plus the newer ones they seem to want you to get 3 clicks.

Anyway, I feel ya. I haven't been denied but 2 coasters in the past 5 years, and one of those was the SFA Superman. But I was very worried about fitting on Intimidator when I heard they wanted 3 clicks.
