ahecht Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 I like wearing my TPR shirts to parks, but during the summer wearing a black shirt can be very hot an uncomfortable. Have you given any thought to lighter-colored shirts? I would definitely buy one in a light grey or blue (but probably not white, white shirts would get dirty too quickly).
robbalvey Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) I like wearing my TPR shirts to parks, but during the summer wearing a black shirt can be very hot an uncomfortable. Have you given any thought to lighter-colored shirts? I would definitely buy one in a light grey or blue (but probably not white, white shirts would get dirty too quickly). We actually did have them in lighter colors at one point...they didn't sell. Our gray hoodies...always very slow to sell (We still have some left if you want them!) We have found that black seems to be the most universally accepted color and sells very well for us. When we have very limited funds for the site already, we need to focus on merchandise that moves. Since we don't do Cafe Press type of crappy shirts, we have to do a much bigger up front order and our cost is much higher. On a side note, we DO offer our TPR Trip usually in 4 different colors so one way to get a different color shirt is to do a TPR trip! (And of those 4 colors black is always the highest amount that is requested.) Hope this answers the question! --Robb Edited May 10, 2010 by robbalvey
