RCT3D Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I'm working on a new park based (in a way) off of area 51. I need some ideas on what scenery I should add to this ride so I can do updates. There will be more rides like this one as it progresses so it will be a large project so enjoy the pics and feel free to make suggestions.
MattC Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 That's really nice scenery. Good use of the rocks and diggers too, I like that a lot. It could be a bit darker though in my opinion. What trains are they?

dmaxsba2408 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I agree with ^ a video would be GREAT! I don't like the darker idea, way to many RCT3 rides are dark. Just my opinion though.
RCT3D Posted October 18, 2009 Author Posted October 18, 2009 PLEASE POST POV! It looks awesome! I would but I don't have any screen recording software, and I don't have 3 hours to wait for the in-game recorder. Could you make the POV if I email you the park file?
Coaster Cow Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 ^I would, but I happen to be an amateur at RCT3 Can anyone else do this?
dmaxsba2408 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 You can use hypercam to do the video. Its free but has the company logo in the corner until you buy it. http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/ Very easy to use. Not sure how the windows work in RCT3 but in RCT2 I pop the ride I want to video, click on a train/car and make it the size I want. Using clear tape, the kind you wrap a present with. Make four tabs and put one on each corner of the window. Put a mark on each tab at the exact spot the corners of your window are using a marker. Open hypercam and hit "select region". Make the hypercam record window match the one you made with tape. Go to your game make sure your window is in the right place, start your ride and hit F2. The recorder will start. When done hit F2 again an it will stop. I just put my last video on You Tube and haven't had any complaints yet that people are having trouble seeing it. So I think I would go that route for posting it.

dmaxsba2408 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 lol, yep I put tape on my monitor. It is a very low adhesive tape. Get me a piece about half inch long pinch the end so I have a tab to hold onto and put it on the monitor. Make my video and pull it off. I have RCT3 Platinum but can't play it. I need to upgrade or replace my computer. The game gets really slow very quickly. Running the Hypercam I even have problems. If I make the record window to big the video gets jumpy. Hope the program works out for you.
