Mind Eraser Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 (edited) For those of you interested in J2: The Coaster Formerly Known as Tsunami, at Clementon Park - here is your chance to take a virtual ride. I have made a fairly accurate recreation in NoLimits. I've attached the track file; I wanted to attach screenshots, but it says .bmp files not allowed. How do you change pictures to .jpg? Anyhoo, enjoy, and let me know what you think. -kip- Edited November 10, 2010 by mcjaco
kenshinmac Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Just use paint if you have nothing else. Just select save as in the file menu and select jpg or jpeg in the filetype box. The reason bmps or bitmaps aren't allowed is they are huge. Bitmaps are completely uncompressed.
coasterdude5 Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Great coaster! I haven't actually been on the real coaster itself but from the pictures, your recreation looks pretty accurate! Good Job.
Mind Eraser Posted July 30, 2005 Author Posted July 30, 2005 Kenshinmac - thanks for the help. I'm a computer retard. I think I changed the screenshots to jpg's, so I will try and attach them with this post. CoasterDude5 - thanks for the kind words. I'm pretty satisfied with my track. One thing I am disappointed with is how the NL version doesn't convey nearly how freakin' crazy and intense J2 is! [Note: It appears the screenshots have attached properly. Only problem is, they are big... I hope not too big? However, I would rather not resize them because my photo resizer is crap and it blurs the pic a bit after resizing] -kip-
BiCoastal Kid Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I see you uploaded it at CoasterSims. They'll help you improve lots if you pay attention to good rates and such. I'm having computer problems right now, so I can't really look at it, but when it gets fixed I'll try to remember this one and look into it.
Mind Eraser Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 Thanks, BCK, I look forward to hearing your input! -kip-
BiCoastal Kid Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Just from pictures, though... why didn't you put water under the first drop?
Mind Eraser Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 I have no idea how to do that, lol. I just know the very basics. It took me months to figure out the how to elevate/lower land.
BiCoastal Kid Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Are you using the in-editor terraformer? The seperate terraformer is much simplier to use.
