So who out there has had dreams when they're sleeping about a park that doesn't exist except in your imagination, and then after you wake up you keep building ideas and imagining this insanely awesome park that you would build if you were the head of a big company that just ventured into the theme park business?

I've been having this recurring dream about a resort right outside of Gettysburg that has a large hotel, Keystone Park, a park themed to the history of PA parks including recreations of old defunct attractions like Voyage to the Center of the Earth from Dorney and Le Cachot & Gold Rusher from Kennywood. Also, a wooden out-and-back racer, a modern Scenic Railway, classic flat rides like the (covered) Caterpillar, a classic-style Chute-the-Chutes and a Big walkthrough funhouse with rotating wheel.. a complete recreation of the former Fantasyland park in Gettysburg. oh, and a section of the park completely dedicated to the Luna Parks of the 1910s.

Would also be a place that rides of importance go when they retire from other PA parks.

Across from Keystone Park is a modern theme park called Steingarten. It's theme is Germany and PA Dutch heritage. For some reason in my dream, this popular German restaurant called Hofbrauhaus in Gettysburg IRL is actually located in the entrance section of Steingarten in my dream, and it's a huge 2 floor buffet serving everything from Schnitzel and Weisswurst to Bratkartoffeln and Flammkuchen. I imagine this strange cuckoo clock themed section with a heavily themed wild mouse called Clockenspiel and a spinning dark ride through a giant cuckoo clock with those little hammer dudes coming out of the facade and hitting a giant bell every 3 minutes. Then there's the Oktoberfest Gardens section with a ripoff of Festhaus at BGE and lots of other places to enjoy Das Bier. There's even a recreation of the Allotria funhouse from Williams Grove that's on my avatar. Also, a bavaria section with a B&M Floorless that travels through a Bavarian town. There are also little dark rides scattered throughout the park like The Brementown Musicians, which is based on the 1930s Ub Iwerks cartoon with scenes from the cartoon with the same music and everything and it's awesome.

I could go on and on with more of my ideas. That's what i love about dreams, you can take one idea from them and then use IRL ideas to combine with the ultimate idea, at least in your opinion.

It would be great to hear from other people who elaborate their thoughts on a dream park. I know I'm not the only one. We could collectively come up with some really cool ideas here.
