I was a mindless little 4 year old when my grandpa walks through the front door of my lovely Jersey Shore home. Normally, He is carrying grocerys and other stuff from the Wal-Mart Supercenter. But instead, He handed me a computer game. This wasn't just any game, It was Roller Coaster Tycoon and it's expansion pack, Corkscrew Follies.

 

So what did I do, Install it on my computer. I played it for HOURS a day. This immediately sparked an interest for coasters. So it became a tradition to take me and my (Non-Posting) twin brother to Blackbeard's cave for our birthday. I had my first credit there.

 

However, That was it. Other than ONE visit to SFGAdv in 1999 where we rode 3 kiddie rides followed by rain for the rest of the day.

 

And then, In the summer of 2003, My mom makes an announcement that we will be moving to Las Vegas for no apparent reason! So we moved to a place with nothing but crappy coasters. (Exept Speed.)

 

2003-2007 was Torture! The only credits I got were...

 

Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome)

Miner Mike (Adventuredome)

Desperado (Buffalo Bills)

 

Yeah... That's it. And it gets better! in that time...

As we can plainly see, My family had a hard time seeing how much of a coaster fan I really am. RCT1,2,and 3 ware the only coaster related things I owned.

 

But on 07/08 New Year's, all that changed. I found a site called "Theme Park Review." It was a huge coaster-enthusiest message board. So I thought I would feel right at home here. So I registered.

 

And guess what, I had a BLAST! This is by far, the most fun I've ever had on a message board EVER! Full of Inside jokes, Videos that are funny and amazing at the same time, a lot of nice people who have a big sense of humor, and best of all, All relating to my #1 hobby. Roller Coasters.

 

And the best part, This FINALLY proved to my family that I am a monster coaster enthusest. So I ended up going to MAgic Mountain, Great adventure, Morey's, Nascar Cafe, NYNY Hotel and Hurricane Harbor (Valencia).

 

My coaster count went from 12 to 40 in one year! and I got a total of 50 coaster runs this year! a new record. This was my scedule this year...

 

1/25/08- Adventuredome

 

5/9/08- Nascar Cafe.

5/10/08- San Gennero Feast. (Ghetto Fair)

 

5/20/08- Adventuredome

 

6/7/08- Six Flags Magic Mountain

6/8/08- Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

6/9 & 6/10/08- Six Flags Magic Mountain

 

8/14/08- Six Flags Great Adventure

8/16/08- Morey's Piers.

 

That year= AWESOME!

 

Well, 2008 is now over and its my 1 year anniversary on the boards.

 

I want to thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON HERE for the best year of my life! And I can't wait to see what 2009 will bring.
