Photo TR Pre Prologue Paris - Dakar Rally

Hi everyone,

 

Went to Valkenswaard last saturday to see the Pre prologue of the famous Paris - dakar rally which this year ,or actually next year cause it will be held in january, will due to the threat of terror be organised in Argentina!!!!

 

All of the dutch and I think all of the Belgian competitors were present.

 

The rally has three different disciplines - Motorbikes - Cars and trucks.

The trucks are the most impressive of the three.

 

The track is in Valkenswaard (close to Toverland) is partial tarmac and partial dirt track and of course we were at the dirt track given the fact that is the place were normally most of the action takes place.

This truck used to be red.

Once again the army saves the day... well it took an hour but they did it.

He was a bit too fast and flipped over.

10 gold stars for the one who guessed it right.

Trivia... What did just happen with this truck.

There were two quads but the other one fell off in the first corner and broke his shoulder.
