hansrubens Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Hi everyone, Last month I visited Walibi World to celebrate their new years eve on two separate occasions. On July 23 with my sister and on august 6 with my brother. Yes it is awesome to celebrate new years eve in july/august. At night there was a DJ at the Goliath site and the evening would end with the great Sjon + Sjeffrie show + fireworks. We arrived both times around 5 pm so we should have plenty of time to do all the rides. But OMG the park was packed with lines at Goliath and El Condor up to 60 minutes but anyway we had a great time and we were very lucky with the weather. On to the pics. See ya next october Eddie. Yes that's it. Come on you can do better. Yeah set it on fire. Ohh. They tried to set the ferris wheel on fire. Happy new year. Almost midnight. Starlights Last part of the night. The famous Sjon and Sjeffrie Show. The Sky Dive looks awesome at night. Wow There he goes. We used the single riders line on Space Shot so we couldn't ride together but who cares. Suddenly the night kicks in. Like I said there was a DJ set near Goliath. Yup. The airtime on the three bunnyhops is so amazing. Thank you Six flags for making this possible. Can't get enough of Goliath. So here you go. There was a family passing by who wanted to be in this great TR too. ^ Tried to take some onboard shots. Most popular ride of the park. The crew at El Condor did a great job to entertain the public. I'm spoiling the lifthill fans. My favorite part of this ride. The SLC didn't run bad at all. We almost got run over by this train. Some kids decide to cool down. Some nice landscaping at the kids area. FOOD. The camelback is filled with ejector air. Coaster porn. See I told you. Stengel dive. watch next picture at your own risk. Back to some Goliath pics. Action Picture. There is Mr. Wok again. That makes me want to ride Woks waanzin. Ahh there is Mr. Wok. They even poured some extra footers or it was just a miscalculation. For the lifthill fans. I didn't noticed it before but anyhow for a Vekoma it's a very good woodie. There is a huge bump somewhere halfway the track. Train peeping out of the station. I haven't seen such a long line at Robin Hood for a long time. Dark clouds gather above the SLC. That first drop on Goliath is awesome. Yeah were in for a party. So this were the average lines on both nights. They are a little early to mention their haunted houses. Same spot two weeks later. July 23
