coasterdude5 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Is it okay to make your own coaster shirts? Just wondering. Why pay $20+ at the parks when you can make your own? That's my stand on it.
Sir Clinksalot Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Most RollerCoasters are copywrited, from the names, to the images to the artwork on their shirts. So in short, I don't think you could.
DenDen Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Even though most coaster logos are copy-righted, making your own is legal, ie. you're making your OWN shirts, for you only. The minute you give one to someone, you're breaking the law. It's part of the "fair use" laws, if you're in the U.S.
coasterdude5 Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 I'm gonna make my own logos. Woud it be okay to just put pictures of CP's coaster together and then at the top to put Cedar Point?
CoasterFanatic Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Like DenDen said, you can make anything you want for one person only ... yourself. Parks own The Ride Names The Images The Likeness The Logo The Park Name etc etc
coasterdude5 Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 Yup- It's for me and me only! Other people can make their own shirts!
