Six Flags Season Pass "other park" question

If you use your six flags season pass at another park, do you have to go to the ticket booth? Or right to the turnstyle?

 

Also, does the 9.99 bring a friend discount apply to "other parks"?

I went to SFMM with family the other day. They have season passes for SF up in NorCal (used to be Marineworld) and they were able to walk up to the turnstile with their passes. I used the $9.99 bring a friend deal and had to go to the ticket booth to buy that ticket with one of them and their pass.

cool. I just didnt want to blow 4 mins in line for a ticket if I didnt have to.

I was able to use my SFOT pass to get into both SFKK and SFGAm this year without going to Guest Relations.
