DSX Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 How busy have these parks been so far this summer? The past few summers have been brutal for crowds is this year any different? I am worried about IOA in particular, I take it rides like Hulk, Popeye, Dueling Dragons and Dudley are packed? At least Dr. Doom will be a walk-on like usual. Anyways sorry if this question has already been asked recently I quickly scanned the first page and saw nothing relating to this question. Expect a TR when I get back in 2 weeks =] Ohh and for the sake of one more question, is Mythos really all that it is made up to be. I have gone to IOA at least 6 times and never bothered with it. Is it pricey?
thefitness Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 It'll be pretty crowded, it has been all summer. You'll be fine if you get express passes. They are definitely worth the money, and I would highly recommend them. I personally, really enjoy Mythos. The atmosphere is awesome, and I've never had a bad meal there. The prices are not ridiculous, but it is the nicest/most expensive restaurant in the park. Have fun!
DSX Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 Thank you for your response. I guess I have to deal with the summer crowds. If anyone else has any input as well it would be very much appreciated. I leave to take my drive down in around 9 hours.
thefitness Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 No problem! If you're not able to get express passes then get to the park right when it opens and head straight for Dueling Dragons. Most people don't get back there for a little bit. After that, if you want you Pteranodon Flyer credit then head there next. Then just keep an eye on the wait time screens scattered around the park, and head to whatever has the shortest wait. It shouldn't be devastating without the Express Passes, but they are always nice to have. Anyways, Travel safe and have fun! Orlando is one of my favorite places!
