Goliath513 Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Topics like this are usually posted here --> http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=88145b6ace395204322683d7b86ba134 But for suggestions, ride Big Kahuna early in the day as it tends to get long, slow moving lines later on. Bring back pictures if possible, and tell us what changes there are for the 2007 season.
darklingscribe Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Tell me if you like the place or not. I've always wondered as it is just as close to my house as Ragin' Waters in San Jose is, yet I've never been (partly because a friend of mine was there that day the water slide collapsed back in 1997).
Goliath513 Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 ^The slide that collapsed was one of the open track Banzai Pipeline slides (now renamed Hurricane) which was due to an overload of wild teens on the slide at a graduation party. The structure was not designed to handle the weight. I read that a group of teens from the same school piled on to one of the slides at Manteca Waterslides the previous year, but it didn't break because the slide was built on a hillside and not a free standing structure like at Waterworld.
tatsuboy123 Posted June 9, 2007 Author Posted June 9, 2007 went today. So boring. All that was open was honalulu half-pipe, Tornado and the lazy river. Wave pool like exploded which closed down cliffhanger and big kahuna and all the other body slides. All in all it was actually fun because it was a school day and no one was there.
