Leaf Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Yeah, i have tried to edit a movie, just adding some text to it. I loaded into Windows Movie Maker, and when i did that, it was in Widescreen quality. I added the text, needed to it, and then i saved it, and watched it. But when i did that, it was not Widescreen Quality! It just showed up as a normal movie, with the same "length" on all 4 sides of the screen. - So how do you keep your imported movie into Movie Maker, widescreen quality? Hope you understanded, and Thanks
DenDen Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 It's not wide screen "quality", it's wide screen "FORMAT", (also known as 16:9) which I don't think Moviemaker supports as output. (Seems to be one of the big selling points of commercial software!)
Leaf Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 Well, Okay. Sorry i guess. Does anyone know a Movie Editor program that support Widescreen Format / 16:9? Thanks.
WillMontu Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 From Windows Movie Maker -Select Tools from the top menu -Select "Options" -Choose 16:9 from under Video Properties I've done it many times without any problems
