well, i just dowloaded the rct3 demo and played for a bit... here are some observations i made:

1. looks good, maybe a bit cartoony

2. coastercam is cool

3. lots of new elements for coasters like overbanked turns etc...

4. why did they go and make the interface so damn crap? in my first time playing RCT1, i could easy put together a coaster in like 5 mins (even though it sucked). It took me like 5 mins to build the lift hill and the first drop

5. damn that interface is terrible! why would they change it?

6. building scenery is much harder it seems...

7. why do i have to delete every tree in my way?

anyhoo, i do like the potential for making really good coasters in rct3, but after playing for a while is the interface still kinda hard to use or do you get used to it?

They fixed a lot of stuff with the final release and cleaned things up a decent amount. Make sure to patch it up though. Also consider that you can usually get RCT3 Gold for the same price as the basic one now. It includes the waterpark expansion Soaked! as well and is well worth the price of admission.

RCT3 isn't as straight forward as the previous ones but it adds enough to make it well worth the extra time required. The only real problem I have is that building is much harder since you now need to consider the inside and outside of every ride.

I believe that screenshots go in the MyPictures folder of the current user.

You might be able to use the John D Rockefeller cheat... Just rename a guest to John D Rockefeller and you get 10,000 in the full game. Dunno if it works in the demo.

k 1 more question:

in the full game with wild and soaked, are there more new elements you can use in your coasters other than overbanked turns?

It just depends on the coaster type. There are a few coasters without any special elements and there are some with absolutely tons. The extended coaster in Wild! has dozens of elements and gives you an immense amount of flexibility in design.
