^Very interesting. I may have to buy that book just to check out that information! lol
It makes sense though. Hopefully one day CGA will get their new B&M Hyper - even if it's a "mini" model that's 200 feet or less. Or Knott's. Or literally anywhere out West...
I read the book.
and recommend it
Greatest read

Don't know if I buy the "why Orion is smaller than Fury" story though .
I believe
it. Mike Koonts in the conclusion
says he wants to make King's Island a family park
What he says about Orion
fits with what he says later

I finished reading the new book on King's Island
today. I thought it was
great. I learned a lot
Lots of interviews w/mgmt.
I will recommended it.

Kings Island has a giant open crater in need of a modern multilooper. I was hoping for something more like Copperhead Strike, and of course they just got Orion, but, we'll see.
If you read the new
KI book
it says that nothing is on the table for there
at the moment

Thanks for all the help so far in planning my trip tp CP on 2nd September. I have booked Breakers hotel for 4 nights 3 days and feeling good about it. I know about the main headline coasters but I don't know much about the other non coaster stuff that might be worth experiencing. I would like to try Windseeker because I have never been on this ride type before but if there are some other 'must do' attractions then I would be interested to know about them. They will be second to the main coaster line up but I'm not totally going by my coaster count and would happily trade a ride on something like cedar creek mine train for something else if time becomes tight.
I would recommend the french fries. And the Skyride.
Also
Spend a day at
King's Island.
Not too far of a drive

Any news or rumors on Coasterstock? It's normally mid May before Memorial day. I do hope it doesn't get cancelled again this year.
I do not think it will happen this year, because we would have heard by now
