Iron Gwazi, North America’s tallest and the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world
Which one is it, North America, or the World? Was it originally supposed to be in the world and due to delays was outclassed?

Any word on if they're planning on retrofitting any rides with the locker system from Velocicoaster?
-
With this being on Zoom is it webcam required?

Katonga, Busch Gardens Tampa. Absolutely amazing show!

*double posted on accident.

This is pretty neat! I just moved to SoCal so I haven't been able to experience the parks out here, but it's crazy coming from FL seeing how jam packed these parks are, and then seeing how big Magic Mountain's footprint.
I find it hilarious that the guy couldn't find the War Of The Worlds plane crash set. It's directly east of the large blue screen he mentions on his approach and isn't very well hidden.Operating a helicopter from 1,400 feet up and moving rapidly over the area vs. the camera''s zoomed view are far different.

Having never ridden a coaster with comfort collars, are they just intrusive? Do you find yourself banging your neck against them? etc.
-
Dueling Dragons, back when it used to duel. Ice was my shit growing up, and Fire was my first ever roller coaster I ever rode.
-
These photos are great!
What camera are you using?

I'm loving this addition to the parks. My question on it though: do they group you with others that aren't in your party? Did you have to wait for an individual carriage? etc.

I love love love the color on this ride, and I'm super stoked that such a bad ass RMC to such an amazing park!

Can we get a POV for those of us who don't have the game? It looks incredible and I'd love to see it!
-
I like the name, too--much better than, say "RomanGods-amonium,"
-
I absolutely love those smashed bottle plates!
Also a huge fan of the pillars design in the lobby, and how it's reflected in the artwork!

All I can think of with this theme is:

Edit: and yeah like many others it will be hard for me to get over "this is cool but I cant believe they replaced DD with this" its a shame but well, parks don't cater to us enthusiasts, though they should!
And that same day, I watched people RUN out of the queue and RUN to get back in line. Here I was in September of 2017 and I watching people run around the queue to "Dragon Hop" just like we did in 1999. Exactly the same. No different. Oh, except instead of running back in line in 1999, in 2017 it was: Run... stop at the metal detector... run some more...
Were you still able to "Dragon Hop" with the fluffy bunnies having a timer on them? Or was it too time constrictive?

I'm curious on everyone's thoughts to this:
Would you have rather seen Universal put in a Dueling Dragons-thrill level Harry Potter coaster instead of Hagrid's and then add a family thrill for the Jurassic Park coaster?
I assume Rowling wanted a more family vibe to the rides there.
Honestly I'm very disappointed in how this ride turned out. The immense lack of theme is just striking to me. As a Potter fan myself, and seeing how much went into Gringotts, and the Forbidden Journey, just to get a ride that has been reviewed as "being able to tell you're in a big a show building" is immensely disappointing.
On top of that Dueling Dragons: Fire was my first roller coaster, so there was some sentimentality about losing that ride. While we didn't get a thrill ride to replace it, it just feels very underwhelming. Even just looking at the cars for the trains, I just wished they'd have painted them to mimic the movie, or something of the description to the book.
I feel like this is one of those rides I'll end up passing on unless I can get a quick ride on the single rider queue (assuming it has one.)
Other than that I'm very excited for what's to come in the Jurassic Park area.

At the risk of sounding dumb; how does she keep her leg straight under the forces at the bottom of the swing for the foot cam? Am I missing some prop in the image?
Other than that, it looks like a great addition to the park!

Honestly, good riddance. That place is a gold mine for real estate in Denver. I would love to see Lakeside get some love, but Elitch just seems a bit dumpy and I don't really care for it after only one visit.

Can we just talk about how reasonable those food prices are?!

Surprised to see no posts here today.
Happy National Coming Out Day!
I'm so grateful to have an amazing support system. Best wishes to anyone currently going through the process... it gets so much better!
I'm so happy that it's truly getting better!

Just imagining the outward bank into an inversion on the first drop as both tracks dive towards each other.
Gwazi even at its worst was such a wild ride! I can't wait to see what they do with all that space and structure!

We really should consider changing that and show the world how it should be done. Maybe that will also expose some of the shady practices going on here as well... Hmmm....
If you want to expose the controversy behind it all, you should do a series with Shane Dawson. He does a lot of conspiracy stuff on youtube, and reveals the backgrounds behind things. I'm sure with your social media presences combined (his most recent 5 part series on JefreeStar received 87M views so far.) Plus you could bring in more advertising for the website that way, and promote your own award.
Or just do a form of what he does, and create a series to shake things up. People love a good scandal story. #justsaying

Maybe we'll just expand the TPR Coaster Poll to include other rides, parks, water parks, water rides, etc. You know, have REAL votes from people all over the world that don't just suck up to certain PR people!
All kidding aside, how awesome would it be if TPR had its own prestigious award in the amusement industry! Give a whole different facet to the review in ThemeParkReview!

When they panned across the park in the video announcing the new ride I thought it was what I soon realized to be Kraken with its new paint job.
