So people are excited that SF is buying the park but yet all the old posts have people bashing SF for ruioning the park. Makes sense

Maybe the folks that are complaining about the demise of TR can start a petition for FI to buy it and put it where FI's old log ride was.

Went to the park yesterday. Rode the Silver Bullet early in the morning. By mid afternoon it was broke and never reopened. I was in line for Thunder Rapids and it broke. Logs got stuck on the hills. Maintenance came and got them unstuck. They ran a test cycle and mid way the same thing happened. It was closed for the rest of the day. Motocoaster was down in the morning but was going mid afternoon. I didn't notice if anything else was down. Twister was going strong. The park was quite busy yesterday. It was nice to see that it was busy for a change.

I heard that Disney is planning on buying the park. They are going to expand the park in as little as two years!

This is my favorite place to hang out. The bartender that's been there for the last few years is so friendly and nice. They have a decent selection of beers. I always stop here with my mug to get a least one fill up, sometimes 2. I would have done both though. Beer, then viper.

I am 6'4 and rode shipwreck falls various times in my life. But this year they kicked me out of que twice for being to tall. Seems like they are extremely strict on this ride this year for some reason. I asked why, and they said something about back injuries. I even squatted the entire time in que and they still caught me. Oh well. Maybe I should have went to the news too.

I'm probably going to go to the park one last time next week with my son, before school's in. His favorite ride is the Silver Bullet. Last time we went a couple weeks ago it was down. Is it still down?

Went to the park for the 4th time yesterday. Motocoaster was up and running. Silver Bullet was dead all day long. Predator was down for a bit, there was a guy hammering on some bolts on the track on the first drop hill, but it came back up. I did notice the helicopter flying around pretty much all day long. I didn't think anything of it until it was just mentioned. Perhaps they are going to add another hotel because that's what the park needs most at this point.

I went to FI about a month or so ago. Usually go 1-3 times a year with the 7 year old. This year was the worst. Normally I buy presale tickets at Wegman's to save some money and to not have to stand in the long ticket both line. Well, when we got there we still had to stand in the long ticket both line because we had to get our wristband. The lines were out of control for the ticket both. If they want to do this ridiculous practice they should have at least have a separate line for wristbands and a separate line for ticket purchases. We had to wait in at least 20 minute line, with ticket purchasers to get this stupid wristband. Most ridiculous thing i have ever seen. There were other minor annoying things but that annoyed me the most.

Guess what broke down hard an hour ago today?
