  1. Looping Starship has been rumored to be on the chopping block as part of the water park expansion. Delirious can be an updated similar type of ride if Looping Starship would be removed in the near future. More than likely cheaper on maintenance too. Should be a solid addition to the park! Almost as excited for them to add some trees and other scenic items along that path as the actual ride. Concrete jungle down there, needs some life added! That's what I was thinking! Great replacement for Looping Starship. They should have brought back Enterprise with a LED light display too!
  2. As far as flat rides go, these are actually pretty fun. I think all the hate just comes from the fact that Six Flags marketed them as a coaster. If Six Flags never did that, I bet we'd have a much different opinion of them. Also this is a ride you find at a city carnival, not a world class amusement park.
  3. Don't we have Looping Starship already? Really confused and disappointed with this addition. It will be a cool light show at night but other than that...
  4. Cedar Fair has signed a agreement with the Provision security system company. They are most known for the TSA body scanners they make...? What could this mean...??? I’m confused as to why they signed a new contract when the metal detectors work just fine.
  5. I went to the park yesterday evening and holy crap, there are a ton of markings in the back! This is very exciting!
  6. Season Pass Fast Lane is sold out! Does anyone know how much it was?
  7. Could someone explain what's going on with this "advocacy" group and how it lead to the closure of Dino-slaughter?

  9. Sorry for a double post but we all need to congratulate the extraordinary job being done by the Wild Thing team, they are doing an amazing job. Bravo!
  10. Is Valleyfair trying too hard with haunt? After last night I don't like the way Haunt is headed. Haunt use to be fun with Camp Wekilou, London Terror, and The Asylum (Three of really good mazes in my opinion). ValleyFair has managed successfully to screw all of this up. They have added absolute crap the last two-three years from Dinosaurs Alive to Trails End to Humane Habitat to The Berseekers to The Asylum Unleashed to the introduction dance (The Chateau wasn't an addition, just an upgrade). It's sad, but Haunt is going in a direction I don't like. They keep spending money on crap attractions when Zombie High has had the same route for 3-4 years now. ValleyFair needs to stop trying to do new and difficult things, they are obviously failing. They need to go back to original because thats what all their popular attractions are such as Mr. Cleavers Bloodshed, Hellside Farm, Zombie High, and The Chateau. I hope Haunt next year adds a more original maze. Now the whole overlord introduction I have mixed feelings on. I LOVED the Thriller Dance, it was so cool to have 50-100 zombies dancing and then running and chasing everyone. This year isn't all bad but I liked lasted years much more. I like the zombie train this year alot, but the rest of it doesn't make sense to me. For example the Chateau Butler is telling the overlord to leave and take her evils with her but then he and his group become evil and takes a girl from the audience? I'm confused by it. I miss the old haunt alot.
  11. I wonder if anything will replace Enterprise or if it will just become a prepping ground for a front gate coaster in 2017/2018. The ideas are endless. It was quite a surprise to hear this announcement; I thought it would have been a closure due to a Dark Ride or Soak City expansion. Enterprise is quite a surprise location, they have been redeveloping that area for quite a while now with the expansion of Route 76 and this years Flying Eagles addition. All these expansions could mean they want this area ready for a state of the art coaster comes in. Getting on the topic a front gate coaster (which it looks like they are starting preparation for), I don't think it could work unless the entrance was moved to more of a central location. The entrance is so far to the left. But if they move the entrance why would they need the prepping ground from Enterprise. I have been a ValleyFair fan for about 6 years now and this year is so different since so many different things could happen. All other years we knew what the announcement was most likely and this year it could be anything from a Soak City expansion to a dark ride to a Sky Roller to a preparation for a B&M. The future is starting to look bright for ValleyFair!
  12. In general I think i'll like these new machines but you can sometimes taste the previovous drink... I feel like the park map looks just like last years theme wise and should be a red back round not blue.
  13. Does anyone know if Breakers Pipeline will be worked on as well? I had my injury on Breakers Pipeline but they are working on Breakers Plunge.
