  1. Seriously Robb, I've been to Holiday World a lot more than you have and have ridden the Voyage way more than you could ever imagine...The Voyage is a different ride now. Period! End of story! I don't care what you call the ppl who want the ride the way it was before, but to say that the Voyage has slightly changed because of the MCBR being on is completely wrong.
  2. My bad peeps. My first two post on this site were very bitter and I apologize for that. I'm not this much of an ass. I was at work and wasn't thinking clearly. 1st thing to clear up is that I was talking about myself not being a roller coaster enthusiast whatsoever. 2nd thing is I still love the voyage even with the mcbr on. The rest of the things I said I can't take back, but it is what is. Any word on when The Voyage turns off the brake would be greatly appreciated. I know a lot of season ticket holders are on this site and could give me the heads up on their next trip report.
  3. AirMBTB, I think that would be a great idea to have the brake run open on special occasions. Keep in mind that I still love the coaster even with the MCBR on...At night it still wows big time, but El Toro has now closed the gap..
  4. I said I was ticked off, but I didn't say that I threw a hissy fit. @AaronMJMartin: @HolidayWorld "Why the complete stop on the MBR of "The Voyage"? Is this a permanent thing now?" Now that that's covered I don't feel like I need to be catered to, but was just caught off guard by the complete stop...Don't worry Robb, I complain about the people who can't handle the high intensity roller coasters, because they're most likely out of shape or their stomach can't handle it, but they still end up riding the coaster anyways, and go off crying about it...Not an enthusiast whatsoever...People are just different like you said...Some people will ride Intimidator 305 for the first time and pass out from the postive G's on the turn...Some people won't ever go back on it ever again...Some people will get right back in line and ride it again...At least I know who you are...
  5. So, I went Holiday World two weekends ago and was quite disappointed by the mid course brake stopping us completely on "The Voyage". I brought my brother to the park for the first time telling him that no other coaster will come close to how out of control you are on this ride...I even told him when we were riding the ride right before the triple down hill to get ready for the intensity and to my surprise we get stopped completely on the MCBR and then released...I was so ticked off I even tweeted Holiday World just seeing if it was a long term thing and they responded as so...@HolidayWorld: @AaronMJMartin It's all about timing - how fast the train makes it to the half-way spot. Faster trainer are slowed, slower trains aren't. My question to you all is has anybody experienced The Voyage this year without the brake in the middle? I would love to go again, but not when the Legend is more intense than the ride I have at the #1 spot.
