  1. Even the fast passes have lines, and people cut in them. We are perfectly fine with managing the heat and our bladders while waiting in line. I felt like I was being attacked because it seems like you don't even want this topic discussed here. Again, I'm not here to debate Disney line policy, just to find out what it is. Disney's website does not mention their policy on line jumping.
  2. BTW everyone on this discussion board is in agreement on line etiquette. Why does it seem like I'm being attacked more by the people who agree with me than the people who disagree with me?
  3. I'm only asking to settle a debate I was having with other Disney fans.
  4. I agree. It should be common sense but I've met/talked to several people who don't see it that way. I wish Disney would issue a definitive statement on it.
  5. I couldn't find a definitive statement on this anywhere else. Does anyone know what Disney's policy on line jumping is? It was my assumption that saving spots is not allowed, and if you leave the queue line for any reason you may not re-enter to meet up with your party except at the very back of the line. Can anyone confirm or clarify this?
  6. Back in 2005, IIRC, I waited 3 hours in the fast pass lane for Soarin' at Epcot.
  7. Does anyone know anything about the replica of the park that was located in Carousel Gifts? It was removed at some point this past season to make room for merchandise. I hope they didn't permanently get rid of it. Great America park replica Great America park replica
  8. I've waited over an hour for fast food a couple different times at Six Flags Great America. At Six Flags Magic Mountain last August, the line for the Coke Freestyle machine was over a half hour.
  9. I rode Goliath at SFGAM in 2014 on its second day of public operation. The posted wait time was 2.5 hours. Actual wait time was about 4 hours due to 2 separate delays. A dishonorable mention goes to Top Thrill Dragster at CP. A little bit of wind or rain will shut it down, and valleying is common. It is also frequently down for mechanical issues. It shut down once when I was on the train and once when I was next in line. I've never ridden it without waiting out any down time, including twice when using the fast lane plus.
  10. Also, June 6-10 2016 are season pass holder "bring a friend free" days so the park may be extra crowded during those days.
  11. If you buy the flash pass. I recommend skipping the water park so you can make the most use of your flash pass. If you don't get the flash pass, it would be very difficult or impossible to do all the major coasters and the water park in one day. Wait times for major coasters will be about an hour, probably more for Goliath and v2 (I recommend skipping V2 as it's a low-capacity ride with a slow moving line). Weather is really the #1 factor you have to be concerned with. If the weather is nice, or even decent, the park will be packed. If the weather is cold and rainy, you may be able to ride most coasters with very little or no wait. Of course, get there early as possible to make the most of your time.
  12. I disagree that a crappy product is profitable. The execs know this and they have dumped more than 4.7 million shares this year. They don't necessarily need to raise wages or get better employees to improve service.
  13. I agree with almost everything you said. The state of the park is a result of the fact that the CEO, CFO, and a few other executives aren't from a theme park background. They're here to maximize the companies profits, which is what they are doing. In contrast, if you look at the background of CF's executives, you'll see that nearly all of them have dozens of years of experience in this industry. I'm longing for the day when SF finally gets a CEO that previously worked in the industry. Which probably won't happen anytime soon considering they just had their best quarter in history. I don't see why making money and improving efficiency and service have to be mutually exclusive. If the food operations can cut down on the time it takes to serve each guest, labor costs would be lower and guest satisfaction would be higher.
  14. And maybe I'm missing something but what's the deal with words I type being changed to lockers?
