  1. Not sure what food line you were on but we got to JB's at about 6pm. The line was relatively short and we got our food in a timely manner. No problems. The lines for rides were definitely long but that's because the park was crowded. Nothing struck me as unusual. I know nothing unusual.. Food lines at about 2 were, 45 minutes at the least.
  2. Very crowded and busy today but that was expected. Hit all major rides and even got 3 rides on freeze and 3 on boss. (Boss is an absolute BEAST, 3 trains, an epic ride time, and a truely amazing layout) Certain ride lines were outrageous and the food lines... I do not even know how to beinng to explain how slow and untrained the people are. /: Also experienced a lot of groups cutting and then getting very angry with others when they were called out. Today was great but I cannot wait gor my fall, GP free visit.
  3. So I am assuming since it appearently jumped the tracks that it will not be open tomorrow?
  4. Depends on the weather. If its nice, and based on when I went last May on a gorgeous, sunny Saturday (afternoon times): Batman: 20-30 min Freeze: 20-30 Boss - 20-30 American Thunder -15-20 Pandemonium - 30-40 Ninja - 10-15 Boomerang - 20-30 Mine Train - 10-15 Superman - 30-40 Justice League - 50-60 Log Flume 15-20 Thunder River 20-30 Tsunami Soaker 10-15 most flats 15-20 Thank you so much!!
  5. Did not mean to spark the anger... my bad. Anyways, I have trip planned for next weekend. Any ideas of wait times on saturday? Thanks.
  6. Why sell it? Now if they ever want to expand they will have to rebuy land. Short term gain, long term loss.
  7. If SFSTL is going to spend $9-10 million on a coaster, I'd much rather see them get something like a Chance Hyper GT-X. Lightning Run at KK only cost $7 million and from all accounts, it's a terrific ride. Eurofighters are fun, but the capacity issues keep them from being in larger parks. I don't think we will see SF install more of them after their experience with DDD. An Intamin Meglite would be another great choice for SFSTL and I think they run about $10 million. Mack and Premier are also making some fun new coasters than don't break the bank. So there are some great options out there for the park if a $20 million B&M is out of the question. I was actually going to ask about these models (because imo they look very good)but didn't because they have never been installed at a SF, so I just saved myself some time. I also have to ask what about the T-Rex track and what will give it more/better potential than a regular coaster?
  8. Ah I did not know they were made from the same company.. but isn't that a bit of stretch to shut down the while buying of Eurofighters? Wasn't the accident human error?
  9. Can you explain in a little more detail please?
  10. They should be feeling the heat, HW just added the world's first launched wing coaster (which I hear is awesome), and SDC is supposed to be getting a major B&M next year. SFSTL really needs a new steel coaster to keep up with the competition. Problem is, HW and SDC are willing to drop 20+ million for a single attraction while Six Flags is not. It'll be interesting what they decide to install because I dont think an S&S 4D will be enough to compete with Thunderbird and/or whatever B&M SDC has in store. A question that I always have is why not add eurofighters? Dare Devil Dive cost around 9 million I believe, its a good thrilling attraction, and relatively small. The only downside is the capacity. Is there a specific reason they dont add more?
  11. This is really funny to me. Of course they wanted more rides its a amusement park. We have already gone over the fact that we have some decent scenery but we also are not a THEME park like Disney. I'm sure the majority would much prefer new and thrilling rides, rather than leaving old ride in a "gorgeous" state, and remeber majority means more money for furture revambs and bringing the park into a more clean and beautiful state.
  12. WOW! It truely is placed in a amazing spot! Also is seems much taller now that it is compared to something.
  13. IMO if someone wants to experience they now have the option which is great. But I am just really hoping that they don't use this VR experience as a way to get out of big additions at parks! Just seems like something they would do... Another concern I thought about is if a headset flies off and hurts someone? or if it breaks will the rider be responsible? So many variables.....
  14. This will definitely bring a new experoence to Ninja and possibly more fun experience. Wish I wouldn't have to worry about head banging while doing this though ...
  15. Overall what I have got personally from this thread the past few weeks is that althought not the most thrilling ride, Fireball will be a great addition to the skyline, ride lineup, and even a different type of a ride for the area! Also im team #flyingcoaster for a new addition. ((:
  16. Imo Boss is the best coaster in the park. I know people will disagree but the drops and speed for the coaster are amazing along with the decent length layout, it always seems to pack a punch in one way or another. Always a fun ride for me.
  17. I know this may not be the smartest question, but why exactly would we lose him?
  18. What makes you say that the park is a mess? Especially in EVERY department? I am just wondering what you saw and I didn't.
  19. I am also looking forward to the Fireball, kinda wish it had a more unique name, but either way it will still be a good ride! Speaking of multiple flats, SFOT got 3 good flats, maybe Six Flags is stepping up with flats as a chain.
  20. Fireball is great addition but like someone else said other parks got 3 new thirll rides. This makes me think... saving money for... Now we play the waiting game!
  21. PREACH. I would go to the park just to ride woodies. Boss is just so intense and fast paced. Along with the twistiness of American Thunder and airtime of Screamin' Eagle, easily one of the best wood coaster collections.. ever.
  22. Not a Super Loop. Six Flags canceled the Super Loops when the incident at SFDK happened. I'm not sure what the ride is, but it's not a Super Loop. I asked about that awhile ago but someone said that they had possibly purchased a package with extra rides for other parks.
  23. In all honestly we know its gonna be a flat, most likely a Super Loop. Hopefully it will draw crowds away from Freeze and JL:BFM!
  24. Although I should say optimism is key, I can completely see what you are talking about, if I am not wrong the last ORIGINAL coaster was Boss in 2000.. not hating on SfSTL it is a great park with lots too offer and the coaster collection is fine, but don't we deserve something original?
