  1. There's enough space for a dark ride and a coaster in the area Gwazi sits, if they had that kind of budget.
  2. The IAAPA model and the original concept art had two cars attached but the new art seems like there will be single cars only. Could be different but seems interesting.
  3. Is there a discount to a one day pass at SeaWorld with a Bunch Gardens 2 year annual pass?
  4. I rode falcon's fury its first day of soft opening
  5. Yea, that's true. The problem with Busch Gardens is that there is so much space but its hard to tell if a building is unused, or for animals, Howl-O-Scream, or employee facilities.
  6. The space for Gwazi and Gwazi Park is big enough for a roller coaster and an indoor ride, and they should use the old Ackbars Adventure Tours building for another indoor ride if the wanted to make the Egypt area even better
  7. Yea I went a few weeks back and I'm going again this Saturday they're already a third of the way done I'm hoping this could be open in April.
  8. For Adventure Island, if they moved the employee parking lot across the street to the yellow area above the park and they expanded in the old lot and the other yellow area, it could nearly double the park, which is very needed since Adventure Island is so small.
  9. As cool as that resort would be, there's not much space for parking there or really a hotel. If the built it in the larger yellow area in the back, it would give a much larger space but not as intimate of a view of the plains. I could see that area by the train as a sort of Rafikis Planet Watch stop for camp kids or to promote conservation like SeaWorld is doing with their new rides.
  10. I went on Skiekra twice yesterday with the drained pool and it makes a huge difference, especially going into the final brake run
  11. Cheetah Hunt reopened this morning so you should be good to ride unless it rains of course
  12. ^Busch Gardens rarely gets busy enough to strategize your trip but the only rides that get really long lines are Cheetah Hunt which averages I'd say about 50 minutes and Shiekra which can get around 20 minutes but Falcons Fury, Kumba, Montu, Scorpion, and the others rides are usually a breeze. The water rides can also get rather long too.
  13. Also see the animals early in the day when they're awake
  14. Has anyone seen the permits for the new ride in Egypt?
  15. Took a trip out to Busch Gardens to say my goodbyes to Gwazi the day before it closed. Pretty crowded for Busch Gardens which is good to see and I made a small routine photo update. Sorry for Nexus 5 quality. First ride of the day was scorpion which I hadn't been on in years and it was fun, its weird going upside down without a shoulder harness over you! Still my favorite thing to eat here. Visited the Animal Care Center and saw these cute little guys which the trainer actually let waddle around! Great View! Some construction updates for food and wine festival later this year, looks like they could be getting rid of this sidewalk. Huge topiary structure. Got stuck on Shiekra for an hour which sucked, but got a free quick queue pass that didn't even expire that day and a water bottle, and it was interesting to see how they unload passengers from floorless coaters by bringing it steel walkways. Finally had to say goodbye to the old monster who's been rotting here for years, Gwazi. Never seen the queue ever get this long. And will never see this queue again. People chanted "Gwazi!" as ever car left, not sure why... Overall, this was probably the smoothest ride I've ever had on Gwazi. I'd grown a horrible migrane through the day from only eating that Bacon Pretzel Fury, and threw up on the car ride home, but the ride itself didn't give me the brain rattling it usually did. And it was nice to see they'd re-opened the new looking photo buying kiosk a few weeks before the ride closed for only $7, but I had no money unfortunately. But the ride broke for probably 15 minutes and I rode after the park had closed and the ride was enjoyable but of course had the trademark rattling its known for. Riding Gwazi won't be missed but me, but the surrounding area and seeing the ride gone will be upsetting to me.
  16. They have been running one of each trains since the tiger side closed
  17. So I'm an enormous BGT fan and this is my first post on this site, and I think removing Gwazi is one of the best things they could do.... If they had the budget. With the ride photos being closed to tiger, it just got worse every visit. And with Gwazi park and the old critter castaways show open too, a gigantic not just coaster, but land could be built, and its sad to know thats not the case for now. I would be fine demolishing that entire section of the park besides the Garden Gate Cafe. Also with rhino rally closing for a possible coaster and tuts tomb for a possible dark ride and the old Akbar's Adventure Tours across, alot could be built at the park. Egypt and The gwazi area are probably the last places in the park that need in update in means of rides, and I hope down the road something incredible can be built. Hope Busch's attendance can really grow this year, they need it
