Sorry Iv'e been gone, I have had a lot of school work as well as family emergencies that have happened. I know that there aren't a lot of you guys that are interested in this park, but I really like making theme parks. Anyway, I have found some pictures from newspapers and even some that Lily has given me. When I first met Lily, she was in her mid 60's and her husband was in his late 50's. I met them in 1967 when I moved into town with them, and I fell in love with both of them. But Lily has just informed me that her husband has just passed away a few hours ago, due to a heart attack. (Keep in mind that this is the year 2016, not 1967. I am doing a little time-line.) we were both in shock and very saddened by his untimely passing, but he said to Lily a few days before he died, that he wanted to give me some pictures of the theme park, which are down below. (A little side-note, I would really like for you guys to give me feedback, it can be good or bad, but mainly on what I could do better) This was taken in Febuary of 1968, when the completed station was finished (taken from a crane) A ground view of the station. The station at night (yes I know it does look very plain but i'm kind of bad at stations, and this station was very complex to construct) In March of 1968, the Red Baron was put in as the first flat ride. This ride is just like a normal chair swing ride, but themed to crop duster airplanes. This is the construction of an Arrow Hyper Coaster. Lily said that this is the first picture she took of the construction of the coaster. Another view of the construction. Lily loved taking night pictures of the park. "It was, and still is, very elegant at night. Peaceful." Another night picture. A night view of the construction of the Hyper Coaster in the background. A queue view of the coaster at night. (I don't know what to call this coaster, any ideas?)

In September of 1967, the parks owners, Lily and Ryan, contacted a famous manufacturing company, called the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, the manufacturers of Blue Streak which had opened in 1964 at the world famous Cedar Point. Lily and Ryan were wanting a wooden roller coaster to debut on opening day of the park. After about 13 months of constructing the coaster, the "Timber wolf" was now ready for opening day, which was still undecided among Lily and Ryan. The coaster is 89 ft tall, and has a top speed of 48 mph. While construction was taking place, I managed to talk Lily into letting me take some pictures of the construction site and park in its early development. These pictures below are from June of 1968, to October of 1968. A picture I got from Lily just inside the park. Another picture I got, but in this one, you can see large cranes. Lily gave me this picture from inside the park. Looks like the coaster is very tall. Lily managed to get this picture from a plane that flew above that park during construction. I got a picture with the 89ft lift hill completed in August of 1967. In late August, Lily took a picture of a milestone. The coaster is now testing.

Majestic Gardens is a new theme park. Started by the owner, Lily, she had a goal in mind as she wanted the park to be "garden-based" as she said, "I don't want to walk into a park and see a bunch of plain dirt and grass, I want to see a paradise." We start in the year 1967, where we only have a garden. The park is still being built under the supervision of Lily and her husband, Ryan. They both had a clear vision of what the architects were to do and would not settle for anything less. They both spent no expense in creating the park. Hello again. I started on the second scene in the attraction, and I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do. The second scene was very hard for me to do. However, I like how it came out. I put the infamous Jolly Roger skull in this scene right before the the first drop, but unfortunately i can't seem to find the correct soundtrack of just the skull talking. I have the "Dead Men Tell No Tales" soundtrack, and the banjo music soundtrack, but I can't find the skull soundtrack. Anyways, after I completed the construction scene, I put some lanterns in it and i'm very pleased with the result. I then moved onto the third scene which is the drop scene and I am still working on this scene today. This scene takes place in a cave full of rocks and mist, which literally drops you into a battle. I am still working on where I want to place the ship and the large fort. The Construction scene overview. As you can see, it is very small, and was quite a challenge. The Construction scene at night. I need to still get the soundtrack for the Jolly Roger Skull. Does anyone know where I can find it? I then began work on the drop scene. I used two different types of rock and I had to constantly rotate the rocks to get it realistic. I don't know if I should add some bushes in the rocks. Another View of the drop scene, but it has no roof. A view from inside the drop scene The drop scene nearly complete. As you can see, it now has a roof. I don't know what to put right after the drop. Should I put a battle scene, or a cave scene right after the drop. I am certain that I will be doing a battle scene as indicated. So should I put a cave scene or a battle scene. If you suggest that I do a battle scene, I will have one large battle scene.

Hi! This is my version of Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not doing a recreation of the ride, but my own interpretation of it. My version of the ride is heavily inspired by the POTC at Disneyland in California. I recently visited The Disneyland Resort, and I rode Pirates at least once or twice a day. This inspired me to create my own version. Keep in mind, I am very slow when it comes to Rct3. I don't understand why, but I have never finished a large-sized dark ride in Rct3. However, I am determined to finish this ride. Feel free to give suggestions on what I should do, or improve. The ride's entrance courtyard. The Facade building of Pirates Night view The station part of the building. The view from the loading platform. As you can see, this scene was inspired by the Disneyland version. I made my own version of the Blue Bayou restaurant, and built a hotel facade, where the boats travel through. A closer look at the Blue Bayou hotel. I don't know what to call the hotel, other than The Blue Bayou Hotel. Please put suggestions into what I should call it. The view from the restaurant. The entire hotel and bayou. For some reason there is a blue wall, and I can't seem to find out why it is blue. I have even replaced the piece more than once. The progress so far. I have started on the second scene in the attraction, the hotel's ruins.

In May of 1986, the wooden coaster, named Forest Rumbler, is now open! The coaster had a large positive impact on the park. It brought in more guests, and gave the park a lot of publicity. The next project for the park is so far unknown, but the owner has declared that they will keep adding. However, on June 5, 1986, the owner of the park died from heart failure. The employees were very saddened by his death. The major's of the park were heart broken by his untimely death, but they knew they had to keep the park operational. The park's rating went down. In about two months after the owners death, the park's attendance dropped by a few thousand. They were about 3,400 guests short of their average. The cleanlyness went down as well. They just didn't care. The park couldn't go on without an owner. So one day, the manager of the park had a meeting with the entire park staff. He said that he was going to meet with every empolyee, to find out why they would want to be the park owner. He did this with every employee. He didn't find one person who could do the job right. The manager finally stepped up, and became the new owner of Mystic Mountain! SCR18.BMP You can see how the transfer track works, everything slides to the right. SCR19.BMP When it opened, it was an immediate favorite to the guests. SCR20.BMP In early 1987, the park put up a large construction fence. Guests think it might be a water ride, or a small coaster. SCR21.BMP About 2 months later, this is what has been completed. Looks like it might be an island... SCR22.BMP When the guests saw the water in the moat around it, the guests got very excited. SCR23.BMP When it opened, the ride was very popular... for the first month. After that, not really anybody was in the queue.

In Spring of 1985, the park opened Spiral, a tea cup style ride. Along with this addition, the park put in a new building featuring restrooms, first-aid, drinks, and cotton candy. Looks pretty temporary though. It might change in the future. The population of the park has been decreasing, but at a slow rate. Mystic Mountain needs a ground breaking attraction, but the park just doesn't have the money. The owner hopes that Spiral will bring in more guests. SCR11.BMP Spiral along with the utilities building. SCR12.BMP In fall of 1985, Mystic Mountains started a new project. A wooden coaster! The park is working directly with Intamin, and the layout has not been released to the public yet, but rumors say it will go underground. SCR13.BMP A few weeks later, we see this is what some of the track will look like. Looks interesting. SCR14.BMP Rumors say that the ride will be around 100 feet tall. One of the tallest wooden coasters in the country.

I feel like the paths are very skinny. I would try and take cue's from Disney with there wide paths, and well themed, in-game, pre-built rides if they are going to have any. I like the station, its realistic, as well as the benches and trash cans. The game should really have many different types of real world coasters like Rct2 and Rct3 do.

In the 1800's, the Mystic Mountains in Montana, were a popular destination for mining. They mined for gold, silver, and diamonds, as well as rare types of rock. But in 1887, the mine had to shut down because of a deadly accident that killed 34 people. The accident had an impact on the entire state of Montana, and a few other neighboring states. The miners were looking for diamonds, and they were going to blast a large hole in the mountain. The explosive was lit to soon, and not everybody was out of the way when it exploded. But now, in 1983, this small roadside destination is home to a train ride that goes through the mountains, where the real miners did. It also has a Merry-Go-Round, as well as a few snack locations. SCR1.BMP You can see all the little shops and the Merry-Go-Round. To the left is where you will begin you journey on the Mystic Mountain Mine Tour SCR2.BMP You can see that there are still some very old diamond carts still filled with diamonds (fake) SCR3.BMP The train tracks on the back side of the mountain. To the right, there is another diamond cart, with broken track from the explosion. SCR4.BMP As you can see, the train goes in and out of the mountain many times. It is over 4,500 feet long, and takes about 5 minutes to complete the track. There is a large lake at the base of the mountain where miners would commute from one side of the lake to the other. SCR5.BMP A little waterfall, and the bridge across the lake that leads to the exit of the train ride. SCR6.BMP Mystic Mountain Mine Tours has two trains operating, so at night, they both get put into their little sheds. During the winter and beginning of spring, the ride only uses one train. SCR7.BMP In late fall of 1983, the park got another ride, "The Slide" is a 20 ft high spiral slide. SCR8.BMP In spring of 1984, the park received a Eli Bridge Company scrambler ride. The Lakeside Jamboree was a great success. It was something more thrilling for the teenagers. The area also got a small food and restroom building between the exit for the train ride, and the scrambler. SCR9.BMP In summer of 1984, construction started on a custom-designed Zierer coaster. In early fall, it opened to the public. The guests loved it. SCR10.BMP In January of 1985, a construction fence has been put up next to the slide. A few days after the fence was put up, construction started on the area. What could it be?

The park is getting great reviews, and it is now back on the map! It's getting so popular, that we had to expand the queue inside the mountain. People were waiting over 40 minutes in 60 degree weather to ride Florida Falls. This classic attraction is so far the most beloved attraction in the park. We need to keep the people coming in through the turnstiles of the park, so in the next couple of months, we will begin expanding the park. No details have been released to the public. SCR35.BMP The expanded queue in the mountain. SCR36.BMP As of May in 1976, a construction fence has been put up in the back area of the park. Something big is coming. -

As of 1975, the park was bought! It was bought by Cedar Fair and the future name of the park has not been announced yet, but it will feature all of the old attractions, as well as a few new ones... SCR25.BMP This is Tidal Wave, our first coaster with a loop. Guests will definitely enjoy this ride. SCR27.BMP This is G-Force. An enterprise ride that will be sure to make you dizzy SCR28.BMP A couple hundred people came to the grand opening of the park. The park's new name is Sky Kingdom. SCR29.BMP A new Merry-Go-Round is in construction. A great ride for younger kids. SCR30.BMP The Merry-Go-Round is located next to the 'Utilities' building. SCR31.BMP Before the park opened, Tidal Wave was moved over by G-Force. However, when the park opened, it was still testing. SCR32.BMP If you look to the right, you can see the Fly Wheel cable launch system house, as well as an on-ride photo. The first in the park. SCR34.BMP Tidal Wave isn't alone anymore! The area got a chair swing ride, called Wave Swinger. It also got a little food court. SCR37.BMP It has been announced that the upcoming attraction will be a wooden roller coaster, and it will not be an out-and-back, it will have more of a twisted design. No scheduled opening day. SCR42.BMP Sadly, during the construction of the new coaster, Streak had an accident. 14 people were killed during the accident. Two people are suing the park for the loss of their family members. The park will deal with the lawsuit in court. The accident was caused by the brakes not working the best. The park is still inspecting the coaster, to make sure everything will run smoothly from now on. SCR43.BMP As of June, 1977, the park opened its newest coaster, Lightning Peak. Lighting Peak opened to great fanfare, and was an instant hit. The lines were not that long, only about 15 minutes. But at night, the lines got up to about 45 minutes. SCR44.BMP With in a month after Lightning Peak opened, the construction crews put a construction fence around the now SBNO Streak. The park didn't give any news about what was happening behind that fence. About 5 weeks later, Streak was completely demolished. Park guests had mixed emotions about this park favorite, but most were happy to see it go because of how rough it was. -

This park is not making much money, it is just enough to pay for everything. So when the Floridians heard that they were getting Walt Disney World, they were so excited. Almost everyone stopped coming to Sunland and went to Walt Disney World because of Disney's super good reputation. The opening day of Walt Disney World had only one park which was the Magic Kingdom. In all, about 45,000 people came for the opening day of the Magic Kingdom which is about the average number of people the Disneyland in California gets in an average day. People from all over the East Coast came to the grand opening of the park, and that made Sunland forgotten about, which is why it closed. No one wanted Sunland anymore. -

Yes, I am still thinking about revamping the mountain, and yes trees and foliage do definently increase the excitement rating. -

Sadly, as of January 1972, Sunland closed. This is all because of Walt Disney World Opening in October of 1971. The original Disneyland in California was such a massive success, that Walt felt that he should build one in Florida. Crowds came as far as Canada to see Walt Disney World, making Sunland forgotten, and eventually out of business. SCR22.BMP Mouse Towers is falling apart. You can also see a lot of the benches are falling apart. SCR23.BMP The Beloved Streak is falling apart as well. SCR24.BMP Streak is being deteriorated by the weather and vandals and bugs. -

I do know what your saying, and I do agree that the mountain is very blocky, but I will keep in mind to kind of 'redesign' the mountain to make it look better. But when I first made the mountain, I was a bit rushed and didn't have much time. -

Now, in 1969, the log ride is finally finished! The owner made a public announcment during the opening ceremony of Florida Falls (the log ride) that the owner will be retiuring, and the new owner will have amazing and exciting rides. Florida Falls opened on Augeust 7th, 1969. Just a month after The Timber Mountain Log Ride opened in Knotts Berry Farm. The Timber Mountain Log Ride was an instant hit in the Southern California area. Florida Falls also brought in more guests, and is currently in a increasing demand of more thrilling rides. SCR11.BMP Florida Falls is finished, and is almost ready to open! SCR13.BMP With the increasing demand for more thrilling rides, we bought a previously owned mouse coaster form a boardwalk in New Jersey. SCR14.BMP Florida Falls has quite a queue today! Right after Florida Falls opened, we felt that the guests would like a new restroom facility, so right across from Florida Falls, is the new 'utilities' building SCR15.BMP New 'utilities' building, and if you look to the right, you will notice that Streak is closed... SCR16.BMP On January 12, 1970, an undercover theme park inspector came to Sunland, and inspected the cleanliness, the customer service, the merchandise, and rides. She had all good things to say about them, except Streak. When she rode Streak, she didn't hear the normal sound a chain lift would make. She asked that the ride could be shut down, and then she started investigating. She noticed that we didn't have an anti-roll back system in case of an emergency. We were forced to close the ride temperately, until it was installed. In the process, we added a new train to Streak. SCR17.BMP Back open! SCR18.BMP Over by the Mouse Towers, we built a pirate ship to increase the popularity in that area. We also felt that the guests would like a new restroom facitlity like the one across from Florida Falls SCR19.BMP After the Pirate ship was built, we expected that area to get a little more popular, but it didn't. We put in a junior coaster. Its our first steel coaster here at Sunland. That drew in a lot of crowds, because when it opened in April of 1970, it was the first steel coaster in Florida. SCR20.BMP Ugh, Streak is closed yet again. After the undercover inspector came and said that we need an anti rollback system, we added another train. This time, the inspector noticed that there were no brakes on the ride other than the station brakes. She told us that it was a safty hazard not to have brakes on a roller coaster with two trains. Streak should be open again with in the next few weeks. SCR21.BMP The park as of May 1970. There is still much more room to expand -
In 1962, a large piece of land was bought near Orlando Florida, in a city known as Longwood Florida. This is only about 10 miles outside of Orlando. The towns people had no idea that the land was purchased, but locals say that it was once a popular hiking destination. SCR1.BMP The giant waterfall mountain, many waterfalls coming down. SCR2.BMP Once the land was bought, construction began the very next day. This is the result of just 2 years of constuction. (Only a team of about 20 were working on it) SCR4.BMP The Park is almost ready to open! This ride is 'Row Boats' which is just a small, boat ride. SCR5.BMP This is the Century Wheel. Just a generic ferris wheel. Inside the building to the left, is a scrambler ride which is called Tornado. SCR6.BMP Here it is the crown jewel of the park, Streak. It is 50 feet high, and has a top speed of 41 mph. SCR7.BMP This is just as the park opened. Since it is located in a small town, only a small amount of people came. But in the weeks after this areil photo was taken, things picked up...fast SCR8.BMP People EVERYWHERE!!! SCR9.BMP Some people waiting in line for Streak, while Streak riders are screaming down the first 50 foot hill. SCR10.BMP With Sunland located in Florida, it gets very hot during the summer, and with Row Boats now closed, we had to put a water ride in the park. We are hoping that this will increase the popularity of the park. SCR12.BMP A log ride was being built, but for about 6 months, its just been sitting there. Apparently, Knotts Berry Farm is thinking of constructing a log ride just like the one at Sunland. The owner of Sunland was born in California, and he used to visit Knotts Berry Farm quite often. We haven't heard anything on when construction will begin again, but we are positive that it has something to do with the log ride in Knotts Berry Farm that is supposed to open some time in 1969, which means it will be at least one year before they continue construction on it.
