wow wow wow... took my first trip here last month and i loved it. For so long ive put this off since it wasnt SFGA i didnt care for it since that is my home park. But i loved everything about this park from the layout to the food and ofcourse the coasters. I was excited for the Intimidator305 and it was just as i expected. I lvoed the rest fo the coasters in the park as well. Only 2 things i had an issue with and that was how rough Anaconda was probably because of how old it is, and the quick line/flash pass. We got on 305 4 times with it but later in the day the park workers just vanish from those lines. Not sure what that was about. But over all id give this park 9/10!

Ok so im just getting back from my GA trip yesterday! Just a few things id like to point out. 1. I was amazed at how many people dont get the flash pass and just decide to sit in the line and then complain how bad the ride or attraction was.But hey thats up to them. We hit the safari first and we loved it. Again people waited two hours in line then another for the ride:( thats crazy! 2. El toro had a breakdown at the end of the day about 9pm. Its was going to be our last one before zumanjaro. So we were about to be the next train out of the station when out of no where the operator gets a look on her face and alls I heard was "the issue is not In the station" to the workers and they throw on the orange vests and she picks up the white phone. We waited for about 10 minutes and the park engineers came out and we knew this couldnt be good! Then we peaked at saw the train sitting on the hill. Everyone looked to be calm but then this BIG woman comes running up the stairs saying......get my kids off the roller coaster! Anyway we were already locked in for zumanjaro so we just got out of line to go over there! Sadly no el toro this time around. But by the end of the night they were testing witha few people in the station waiting holding on for hope to ride it but just ended up closed rest of the night! 3. Zumanjaro....... all I can say is wow wow wow! Iloved every second of it! We got on at 930 pm and it was nice and quick to seee the whole park lit up and philadelphia in the distance! Well thats what the operator told us you can see. NOW ...great ride but the walk to it was horrible! I thought I was walking back to my car at the end of the lot. For flash pass atleast have a shorter entrance. 4. Push down, pull up, push down,, pull up, push down, pull up. YO its not working I told the nitro operator. I think we spent and extra 5 minute s trying to get this sorted out. Get it fixed my god! I didnt wait for the C train even though I thought about we were pressed for time. We got on everything else with no issues. Only other thing is why do they hire so many unhappy employes at the food stand and games? My cousin wanted to keep playing bjt he told me the girl running the game had such a gloomy attitude he just said forget it!

So im going to GA for this saturday. Can someone tell me what is the cheapest way to buy tickets? And also we are going to get there at 3pm, will the lines jhave died down a little? And last will the safari still be open?

OMG why is everyone bashing WAWA. There have been places that have came along over the years that have been a little better. and Primos is not one of them IMO! Im more of a mom and pop shop sandwhich type person. But i still stop by after the park to get a the hot ham and cheese melts!

MAN after scrolling through the Great adventure History page im thinking that i really do miss that Chiller alot. I really wish they could have kept that coaster instead of that horrible dark knight coaster. Plus Movie town would still be a some what of a happening place. Looks like i have to travel to get on Freeze to live that experience again!

Yea that log flume line can get long! I cant remember did they close that second log flume near nitro and congo? i havent looked in a while.

Crappy day out! Not sure if i would have went today for opening.Still feel bad for alot of people who are not into coasters like we, but are going to GA this week to ride KA and Zumanjaro and they will be closed. I sort of laugh when people go there and they are pissed that stuff is closed. I cant remember but cant you go on the website and see whats open? Or least pick up the phone and give them a call and find out.

well i give GA credit for having there end of he deal done. Now just waiting for someone to give the go ahead. At the latest it will probably open on the fifth for the public. on another note every ride has its issues(kingdaka's launch cable, scream machine stuck on hill, batman stuck on hill, etc etc etc). Wondering if there will be any huge issues with this thing droping over and over again. Can only imagine the breaks will have to be checked/changed!

Well lets just hope they get the permit asap and there isnt some long waiting period. I can bet SFGA is losing alot of money right now with this thing just sitting there and Kingda ka not running.

The area you're describing is exactly where the new ride is going though. Golden Kingdom is incredibly dark... so dark that I can't believe it's in a theme park. I'm happy that the faint blue light is back on Ka but they've lit that tower multiple times before and it never lasted more than a season. Usually it only lasts a few weeks. Makes me wonder what GA electrical bill is like!

They should have a light that races along the train with kingda ka!

Most likely none, the ride is at Six Flags Great Adventure so it's a guarantee that the ride will have no lights on it at all (they have a faint blue light they may use for a few weeks but it will never last and even that's no guarantee). I was actually surprised to see that they had a few lights in the queue line. I think I saw two in the last picture they posted. I expected them to just use moonlight and the lights from El Toro's station and the queue building a few hundred feet away for ambient light like they do with Kingda Ka's queue. This is completely stupid and ridiculous but they don't really believe in lights at Great Adventure, especially in the Golden Kingdom. Sky Screamer is the best lit ride in the park. The rest is just darkness and a few flood lights here and there.

Has anyone seen zumanjaro at night yet? I would love to see what lighting they will be using when it gets dark out. I love how kingda ka just zooms into the darkness with only little lights below!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! Looks like GA is jumping the gun opening this thing. My as well save it for next season and stop making promises. But yet i have to respect this, because i dont feel like getting stuck or flying out of this thing!

For kingda ka After the cableback break hill at the end they should extend out into the parking lot with some other inversions.

Does anyone know how the Q line is for Zumanjaro? Will it be one solid line and then split off into the 8 seat sections? I just want to know because if my buddys come along we all want to ride together. Was hoping it would be optinal like scream machine(RIP) where you can pick the freedom or the justice! And also does anyone have info if the drop will be synced up with Kingda Ka?

speaking of free fall everytime i go to SFGA and i walk though movie town it looks more like a ghost town. The area between the entrance of batman to where spinmister used to be at....complete deadzone! If they get anything new they need to put it over there for sure! Dark Knight coaster just isnt cutting it! But thats just my opinon!

Be nice if they kept the Stuntmans free fall horn and used it for Zumanjaro!!!

Prety much like a new movie coming out! I never go the opening day! Let hope for no lighting strikes or bolts coming lose! SFGA will be broke after investing so much money in this thing and having it sit for months!
