  1. Noooooooo! My 2yr old son HAS to ride that at least once every visit
  2. DON'T YOU DARE CALL BERENSTEIN BEAR COUNTRY LAME! KidWorks, fine--but leave BBC alone! Do you remember how creepy that Spooky Old Tree slide was?! That thing could have easily been in Haunt and I loved it and was pissed when I outgrew it. No plans to renew Dinos Alive? Who is your source on this? If it's true when would they be removing it?
  3. One thing I haven't done yet is show up before 10am. Is 9 the earliest for gold pass holders? Also is it only on certain days? I'm looking at going tomorrow.
  4. Noticed a majority of the Dinosaurs have been freshly painted in DA.
  5. Also, why doesn't Supercat go in reverse anymore?k
  6. It is down just as much as it is up and running so it would not surprise me to see it leave. I just hate to see flat rides being removed if they don't get replaced. SuperKat could go too, I just never see that ride more than half full even on a busy Saturday. Maybe it just needs a better location. On a different note I used to want to the see the Enterprise get restored but now that I have seen the NEW design for the Enterprise I want to see that at VF instead. Pictures below. We ride supercat every time and that may be simply because there is never a wait. It would fit well in Route 76 theme wise but where in R 76 could it fit? Maybe take the fence down under Wild Thing in front of Steel Venom. It would be a good ride to hop on quick when the waits are high for Scrambler, Antique Autos and Tilter
  7. My 6 and 2 year Olds live Dinosaurs Alive. We go everything we are there. It is however almost always just us or maybe 3 other sets of people walking through it at a time. For $5 a person it's definitely skipable if you're not toting a season pass. If they do consider changing it I would like to see it spruced up with more foliage and not entire dinosaurs exposed in the open. It takes away from the intrigue. I get that it's stretched out so those that paid the 5 bucks don't feel ripped off by how short it is so they could even just condense it down and maybe throw a few more dinos around the rest of the park. The gift shop is solid however and themed well.
  8. It looks like it's probably just landscaping, although it's possible that it could be for future expansion since that's where some cones were located at the end of the 2014 season. On another note, do the rest of you think RipTide may be on its way out soon? RipTide seems to have the most downtime of any ride in the park, and a lot of other parks have removed their HUSS Top Spins in recent years. RipTide also never has longer than a one-cycle wait except for on hot days. I've seen Rip Tide running twice in the 9 visits I've been this year.
  9. Just curious, where do you guys live and how often do you go to the park? I live 67miles away (one way) in North Branch. Last year was the first year we did season passes and went a total of 10 times. This year we have already been 9 times. Fun fact! I keep track of every expense I would have incurred without a season pass. Such as admission, parking, food, Dinosaurs Alive. This year I added the season long dining plan. I'll let you know at the end of the season what the value has been. So far with three gold passes + dining we have saved about $1,300.
  10. International rollercoaster operations committee Or something
  11. What was the ride in between enterprise and the now Route 76? It was like orange or yellow and spun around while the cars titled on their own. I know it only fit like 10 people at once but why was it removed?
  12. I know they aren't as transparent as they could be, do we know extended hours for season pass holders yet?? I know last year they claimed the water park opened an hour early for pass holders but I went there ten times and never actually witnessed the water park opening an hour early.
  13. How was your experience with the dining pass? Thinking about getting one since I'm gonna be home most of the summer. Everything was very smooth and there are quite a few options to choose from.
  14. Like where they had overflow parking during the flooding last year?
  15. We'll be back next weekend for opener. Last year we attended 10times and we are planning to beat that this year
