I don't post on this thread very often, but I'm too excited not to at this point. I've been lucky enough to visit Holiday World every year since I was young; this year will be my tenth consecutive season. Watching the park grow to what it is now has been truly incredible. I've visited a few other regional parks, but none of them are quite like HW&SS. I look forward to reading posts from first-time Guests. You won't be disappointed. I've been following Thunderbird's progress from the beginning, and seeing it actually fly is just staggering. The latest HoliBlog post (loved your story, Paula!) reminded me of being in awe of The Voyage or Diamondback when I saw them for the first time. I have a hunch that same feeling may come back again when walking underneath the Immelmann. I still can't believe there is now a massive B&M soaring over southern Indiana. Needless to say, I'm ready to ride.

Holiday World never ceases to amaze me with their attention to detail; from large to small, they're always on point. I cannot wait to see Thunderbird in action!

^ Those really were great. It's been a cold, but rather snow-less winter here in Indiana. I've yet to see a bad picture of Thunderbird, this thing just looks incredible. I can't wait to see it in person and ride!

Winter came a bit early this year, but Thunderbird looks great against the snow. I can't wait to ride this, everything seems to have been done perfectly. Kudos to everyone at Holiday World, you guys are such pros. I'm still shocked there is B&M track soaring above quiet, old Indiana. It's a nice change of pace. Thunderbird is going to look incredible come summer, flying through the trees. It is sure to be a hit for many, many years to come. Consider me excited... The first section of the launch is going into place!

I've never posted from this account; I just look at specific parks to see what's going on (KI, HW) and random trip reports, but now I'm signed up for my first TPR event! I was hoping to get to Kings Island sometime this summer, and this event seems too good to miss. We can't wait! I can't wait to finally ride Banshee! Here's the last time I saw her. lol
