Thanks mate- useful to have you here!!!! Looking at it now it certainly resembles the top of a suspension bridge. what do you reckon the track is made of. Steel?? Normal steel or different to other track?

RcFanatic- Granted the supports are very large, but there are very few and they are a long distance apart from each other. You think about a 'normal' coaster where there is a support holding up the track every few feet. Obviously this track is a lot lighter, but it still has to be very strong. Amazing engineering, not surprised it was a wee bit late opening!! Would like to hear more about the materials used in its construction and what were the problems that held it up.

Going to ask a stupid question, what is holding it up?? the weight and stress on the track must be massive. Have to be lots of redundant safety mechanisms on the start where the 'car' joins the track, bit like the Vekoma tilt coaster. I for one would love to ride this unique coaster.

i wonder that too. Its capactity will be what?? 800 pph Max. Movie world are excellent at running rides to their capacity (except lethal weapon), but i still think the q's for this are going to be pretty big. An excellent addition to the park though- The management definately are on the ball at the moment. Would be interested to know what the parks growth has been over the past couple of years. Did superman add 10% or more??

first off, the marketing guys behind this deserve a pay rise. A brilliant idea. Will get loads of free publicity. Almost as good as Altons 'take a sickie' campaign. Not sure how many will take them up on their offer, i could be persuaded, but i agree that the qbot is more appealing.

x-scream- is, in my eyes, the biggest 'thrill' ride out there. I was cackling like a demented witch. Was just an awesome buzz, whoever thought of it/designed that ride deserves to either be locked up or given a medal, depending on your point of view. I think 2 medals personally. Insanity, was wierd. Just a spinner, but the height certainly adds another dimension. Was odd being 'above' the horizon, actually made me feel a wee bit yuck. X-scream wins hands down for nutcase value. What are its safety mechanisms anyone??? Earth magnets??

have to say that Superman here in aus does seem to be the best behaved of the rockets. kanonen also seems to be pretty reliable (though not when the tpr tour was there) stealth was down for a couple of weeks, but is back running consistently now. Rita is fairly good- dull ride, but works most of the time. so the smaller rockets seems to be working best. Looks like any 500 foot monsters might have to wait for a while.

am glad that you guys laughed about it, was a bit worried what the reaction would be. It is rather bizzare, but after seeing what gets on during a lot of those park trips, i thought it was appropriate. And after just reading robs sex shop report from england!!!! This little old sex train is tame stuff. It is not a coaster- no credit there, no lift hill, its a powered old ghost train. All video cameras are banned- boo hoo, photos are allowed off all the stalls and shows that go on in the exhibition halls but not on the ride.

yes i am proud that i will become an aussie citizen in a few months. Us english are such prudes when it comes to sex. Good to lighten up a bit!!

This is actually my first new topic, so dont think that i am a freak, but i found a magazine at my work (honestly) and i thought i have to post this. Now i hope i dont get in trouble for this, but, its too funny not to post, and this site does seem to love furry rodents and a bit of boob everynow and then. There is a 'sexpo' happening in Sydney at the moment, and this is their pride and joy. Its apparently a world first (who else would be brave enough to have one) and a proud Australian inventon. Don't think any park would turn their ghost ride into this, but 10/10 for inventiveness. Why the Gerbil though?? But as this is a PG site i dont think we could even hazard a guess. i think you are the bravest person alive. Would you have actually ridden the topspin if it was working?? I probably would have run a mile. Did you pop round to customer service and complain like a CP fan boy at SFMM??

You're right There is some similarity though. Almost looks like an 'older model'. Or KMG came along and added another axis of rotation. Even so i would love to ride the Move It model. It looks bloody amazing.

could be totally wrong, but i think its a Move-it 32. seem to remember a review of it over at coasterkingdom.co.uk. Martin Sheen i think wrote the article. Raved about it. Said it was the best flat EVER.
